My birthday - Let me start by admitting that I dressed in heels wanting to feel cute for my birthday....I wouldn't do that again. At the original meeting point, the power went out. We had to relocate to their 2nd location. Walking at a pace to keep up with the group in heels was not a good idea, but I made it. My friend and I were in class learning salsa steps from 2 good instructors, but I forgot their names. All of a sudden, a different instructor comes to get us. Apparently we were in the wrong class! We were supposed to be "touring" and in my heels, I was not gonna make it. I wanted to take a taxi and would pay for it, but I needed to know where to go. Ruben, the new instructor contacted Esmerald(?) and we spoke briefly. Ruben flagged down a taxi and paid for us (my friend and the other 2 ladies in our class) to meet him at the next location. Thank goodness! My feet were spared. We arrived at a museum of famous Colombians where we got to practice our new moves. We had a ball! Ruben was so kind and patient taking turns with us dancing or having us all dance together. My salsa experience really made my birthday! Thanks for you kindness and patience!

Wonderful evening of salsa dancing - An hour learning basic Salsa steps in Crazy Salsa’s lovely air conditioned dance studios in Getsemani, a quick mojito made by our dance instructor (clearly a better dance instructor than bar man 😜) followed by short walk down the road to first bar Tertulia where we inflicted our moves on the clientele and had a drink, then onto the world famous Havana cafe for some more dancing. There is a small entrance cover charge but the atmosphere and energy in there is unmissable. Our instructor (sorry forgot his name) was wonderful and attentive throughout, danced with each of the ladies in turn and made every one of them look good on the dance floor. Highly recommended.

Worth it! - Great class, versatile, adapted to everyone's learning styles and levels. The class was upstais at the Babel school location. I wore comfortable shoes that I could both dance and walk in later. Water is provided, but you may water to bring more. We felt very safe the whole journey. The club experience afterward was very interactive. You can go at your own pace if you choose, I recommend getting on the dance floor! We met great people and had an amazing time! At the end of the evening, we opted to take an Uber back to the hotel. I was exhausted from all the fun!

Best Salsa Night EVER! - This was one of the best salsa nights I've ever experienced! The lesson was for beginners but I'm more intermediate level, however, it was still fun. Our first bar was a little on the quiet side, no dancing. But once we all expressed to Esteban we wanted to go somewhere were it's dancing everywhere and he showed up! He took us to Cafe Havana and we danced ALL night! Esteban is the best tour guide, he has the best energy and is the friendliest person to hang out with. Highly recommend for anyone who is seeking the best Salsa Night of your Life!!

Fun, romantic - Esteban was very friendly and so helpful! We had trouble finding the right address, and he was very gracious with us though we were late. He pointed out great other clubs for us to try after the tour.

Fun Salsa time - Esteban was the best. Taught the basic steps and had us dancing in an hour. After our class we hit 2 bars and used our skills that we learned. This is not really a class for experienced dancers especially if there are a lot of beginners in the class. You would be bored. Overall we had a great night!

Misleading - My advice to the tour operator would be to put the word PRIVATE on the tour. The description and photos lead you to believe it is a shared activity. Not worth the money.

Great Salsa class. Avoid the tour - The salsa class was great and Kevin was a good teacher and really lovely. The salsa however tour was non existent. We went to 2 clubs/bars, and they were both empty so no opportunity to see dancers. It was just too early so not his fault. We were the only people on the tour. Just do the class as it was great. Do not waste your money on the tour . It was really poor value.

Salsa Tour - It should be removed. The bars are not crowded at 8pm. There was no one to dance with besides the instructor. I danced one time. Experience was boring. It is very beginner friendly but I have experience. I didn't bother going to the second club because I knew it was going to be light there as well. Instructor was nice though. But there's not enough participants to do a salsa tour. 45 dollars down the drain. Not worth it.

No salsa dancing involved. - There were no instructions when I showed up. The activities were planned way to early, when we went to the bars, clubs there was no one there. Jay the manager tried his best but it was not the experience I expected.
