Unique experience - Without a doubt, this was the best tour we took in Portugal, despite the fact that in my opinion this island is a country in its own right haha. Good food, receptive and happy people, it was like a romantic movie. To our guide, once again, I would like to thank you, and as he himself said (Best wishes to us) hahaha.

sightseeing with Henrik - We were so lucky to have Henrik as a driver/guide on a full-day tour of Madeira. Henrik showed us a lot of places / attractions and Henrik had a lot of knowledge about this and could in a pleasant and professional way to tell about the various places added a good sense of humor. Henrik has a lot of local knowledge and is a skilled driver, which made us safe when driving in Bjerge. Overall a super day. Rasser and Gitte

best day out. - Although our tour did not depart until 10.15 am we experienced an really full itinerary. Our guide Hugo was absolutely wonderful and allowed us to set our own pace as we were the only two on the trip. We visited all the places you expect to see on western Madeira but with the added pleasure of local information our guide provided. we were also lucky with the weather and although changeable we seemed to arrive at the best sites when the sun was out. thanks I think to Hugo. our next trip to Madeira will include another day out but to the East. Thanks Hugo.

Santana, a (piece of) typical village. - On an excursion to the west of Madeira Island, we pass through the village of Santana. We find some very old typical houses, some of which are perfectly restored. It's definitely worth a look.

Caution - The tours are generally well organized BUT pay attention to the price! Everything is done to make you pay more! Each agency charges different prices depending on the hotel you booked. The more expensive the hotel, the less you will pay for your excursions. In addition, the visits are made at the pace, not really time to enjoy well. However I recommend this tour, because the west is really beautiful! Do not eat lunch in Porto Monix, but go swimming in the natural baths (the free side is much more beautiful)

Beautiful coast - I booked a tour to the west of Madiera, the outline said, small group with professional guide and driver. The driver who picked us up, was a very nice young nan, very eager to please, polite and was an excellent driver, But, he was not a guide, his English was very broken, was very difficult to understand, required serious effort to listen to him talk, the company sent a guy who was on the Island only 2 month, NEVER did the route we chose, needed to use his GPS, with occasional, difficulties getting signal, he had no idea about the culture, agriculture, history or, customs of the Island, Luckily he was our 3rd tour in Madiera, so we had some idea. we were suppose to have lunch in Porto Muniz, to have time to walk around, instead , he was instructed to bring us to this little port, with 1 restaurant, not very pleasant environment. I was very disappointed from the unorganized and unprofessional attitude of the company(not from the drver, he just followed directions)
