A must for all Caribbean fans - Waale was not to be seen, and the barge probably drove too close to the coast. Definitely an unforgettable experience, you feel transported back 500 years, Very nice crew.

Great tour on replica ship for history buffs especially - There's a certain amount of climbing stairs to various levels of the ship, but not required to do so. Ship is a true replica and very interesting. There's a small museum of artifacts from the period in the hold. The crew were very friendly and eager to talk about the area and the ship.

Excellent boat tour on interesting replica ship - The trip has a small museum of artifacts from the time, and is as accurate a replica as current safety regulations will allow. The crew were friendly and happy to talk about both the area and the history of Columbus in the region and the ship's construction. Well worth the time and money!

Great fun, well worth doing. - Fun trip, coastal views, very interesting and informed commentary. Nicely presented in person and not over a tannoy. Staff were multi lingual and very pleasant. Served complimentary Madeira wine and cake. Sails were put out for a pleasant slow sail back to port. All in all a very nice sea trip. Recommended!

Unique experience - Unique experience which I would recommend. The silence when under sail was amazing and it gives an opportunity to see Madeira from another viewpoint.

A charming morning on the sea - The experience of travelling in the style of half a millennium ago (albeit with the modern advantage of an engine and a flushing toilet) was wonderful. It was very serene and relaxing. It was a shame not to see any whales & dolphins and the downside of the calmness was there wasn’t enough wind to set the sails. Those would have been bonuses, it really was great as was. The crew were so welcoming, friendly & informative.
