Both natural and manmade wonders - This was a working salt mine up until mid-20th century. It has several large mined areas, the main one being 13 stories deep. They've converted it into a tourist attraction and it is worth a visit to see the huge salt dome and see how people mined out so much salt with hand tools. There is a boat "ride" where you can paddle on a salt lake and a mini-amusement park, but we liked seeing the natural salt dome and how people had mined it. One strange thing is that there is no information on how the salt dome was formed geologically. This isn't even the largest salt mine in Europe but it is still deeply impressive.
