A great day near Cluj-Napoca - If you are in Cluj for a few days, are unfamiliar with the region and do not plan to rent a car, then this trip is perfect! The program is set up in such a way that you see as much as possible in the shortest possible time without feeling rushed. The variety of activities was also ideal for us. Tudor is a very friendly guide with a lot of knowledge of local culture, history and nature. We would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see more of the region outside the city of Cluj.

An interesting journey of discovery. - Today's trip to Romania was very memorable! From the wonderful underground world of the Salina Turda salt mine, to the stunning natural landscape of the Turda Gorge, to the tranquillity and culture of the Rimetea countryside, every stop is full of surprises. Although the weather is gloomy, it does not affect the experience at all, but rather makes the canyons and mountains more mysterious. Special thanks to the thoughtful guide, who not only arranged it rationally, but also explained the rich history and culture, making this journey not only a scenic one, but also an exploration into Romania's nature and humanities. It is highly recommended.

Definitely recommend this tour - We had a great tour with Tudor. He was very knowledgeable, and took us to see things not many big companies would. The salt mine was a great experience and we had enough time to hire a boat. The riverside hike was a challenge at times but well worth the effort for the views at the end. We had a lovely meal in a traditional restaurant where Tudor gave us good recommendations. It was a very active and engaging tour which we thoroughly enjoyed, thank you!

Worth doing - Andrei, our guide, was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable of every step of our journey. If we were in Cluj longer, I would have 100% reached out to him on other excursion options. Salina Turda was interesting in the scale of it as well as how the main chambers have been developed for light entertainment. It's a very unique experience to see. Cheile Turzii was beautiful. We were here in October and the trees were turning colors. The hike itself is not very strenuous, it's pretty flat up into the valley. However, the trail as you get further in, becomes very rocky and uneven. Wear good shoes with plenty of traction. If you're unsteady on your feet, then this would probably be a bit of a challenge. Rimetea was small & charming. The village itself is pretty quaint and we spent most of the time viewing the houses and learning about the history of the village. We did stop by a house with an elderly couple that make flavored spirits (I forget if it was tuica or palinca or something similar) and had a sample. They were really nice and it was interesting to see what their yard was like. Finally the Monastery of Holy Archangels Michael, Gabriel and Raphael was a nice last stop. Although not old, it was still interesting. The painting on the interior of the church was pretty impressive considering it was all done by the nuns. Overall the excursion was definitely worth it and I highly recommend it.

Curly tour excursion - Time of arrival to salt mine was perfect, not very many people. Great tour with lots of interesting info about local history. Gauge was beautiful, filled with all the colours of autumn. Walk was filled with spots that demanded pictures. Had sections of mild climbing along the gauge edge. Not difficult but best to have good footware. Lunch was amazing. Local food and the guide was very helpful with choosing from the large menu and helping communicate. Great recommendations. The restaurant was also stunning. So nice someone was having wedding pictures taken. Final stop was a beautiful village with more history of the area. Overall an amazing day, with an amazing guide. Would highly recommend.

Rainy, but still worth it - It was rainy and all, so we took the short route at the gorge and skipped a zip line. But my overall impression of the tour was still highly positive. The guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The sites were diverse. And the beauty of places visited was spectacular. Would recommend the guide on this or any other tour of his.
