This drive leads to a secluded area where the experience will commence.
Upon arrival, participants will gear up with a wetsuit, lamp, helmet, and snorkel mask. The adventure starts with a 10-minute walk along jungle paths.
- Bejil-Ha Riviera Maya - At the first stop, the group will descend into Uj, a cenote adorned with stalactites, stalagmites, and ancient rock formations. They will then visit Kiin, a cenote beautifully illuminated by sunlight. With some luck, they might spot the toh bird, a regional symbol of cenotes. After exploring, the group will walk back to the magnificent Templo Mayor. This cave, regarded as one of the most breathtaking cenotes in the Yucatan Peninsula, offers a surreal experience. Swimming here is truly extraordinary.
Finally, the group will return to the village to savor a delicious home-cooked meal, prepared by the women of Chemuyil. It’s a wonderful way to connect with the land and its people.
