Highly recommend to anyone going to Tsukiji Market - Our tour with Yayoi was one of the highlights of our trip! We tried so many food options we would've never found without her, and her recommendations were top tier. The food was tasty, fresh, and a great intro to the local cuisine. We skipped breakfast which was a good call because we left with our tummies full. We even took home some Japanese snacks based on Yayoi's recommendations to gift to loved ones. She was very knowledgeable and shared much appreciated historical context with us. I especially appreciated our visit to Tsukiji Hongwanji Temple. With so many tourist traps and viral spots around, having her as our tour guide was a game changer.

Great guided tour - We loved our experience of fish market tour yesterday with Yayoi - our guide. We spend more than 2 weeks in Japan and mostly organized everything ourselves, but guided tours are very beneficial. We learned a lot during this one, enjoyed the company and the guide's suggestions. Recommend this tour and Yayoi.

The right amount of tour time for a family with kids - I am glad I booked this tour. The tour was in the morning with our flight departing later that evening. Our tour guide was Rie and she met us on time, was very informative and took us to a couple of good spots to try the fresh sea food/ beef. We had some young kids in the group and she was very patient with them/ parents which was nice. We could have walked through the market ourselves but we always like to know what the locals buy/ eat/ shop and get a perspective on the place through them. It was a good 2 hours spent before we rushed back to catch our flight back home. Would recommend this tour for anyone who eats meat/ sea food (I don't, but my family does and they loved sampling a bit of everything) :)

Great food tour - Tokyo Fish Market - Shino is a great guide and led an interesting culinary tout of the fish markets and temple. Shino was thoughtful and kind of our needs as a group.

Great Day! - Excellent tour! Our guide was very good. He provided detailed information on each stop and even provided recommendations on shops / vendors, food, etc. I highly recommend this tour....very efficient and fun.

A fun tour of the fish... - A fun tour of the fish market! Before we went to the market we went to the Buddhist temple which was fascinating and in the Indian style. The fish market was amazing! We tried many different items including sushi, oysters, Japanese rolled omelet, eel, whiskey, Wagyu beef and sweet treats. Our guide was great!

Riki rules! - This is a very nice tour. Neither me nor my wife is a real foodie but we both enjoyed this tour very much. For the success of any enterprise two things are needed: concept and execution. For this tour, both are excellent. The concept: in contrast to other Tokyo food tours like those at Shibuya or Shinjuku for which the cost of food is part of the total cost, so that you eat what the tour guide orders, on this tour you are shown several places and have a choice: eat now or move on and eat later at another place. The execution: our tour guide Riki was excellent. He speaks virtually native English, is very knowledgeable, and knows the market extremely well, so he brought us to places that he knew we could try some ready-made food to decide whether to buy it, and also he showed us several places where the food is being prepared to decide whether we stay or move on to the next location. He also showed us an interesting Buddhist temple nearby (which was our first stop on the tour), and a knife shop where we bought an authentic Japanese knife. Overall: an excellent experience, one of the best tours we’ve ever been on: Very well deserved five stars!

Fun - Our guide was excellent. The food was tasty. We bought some cool things. Met some nice people. It's was not expensive. It was worth it.

Good experience. - Good experience and guide. Stopped at a temple before hand which was cool. Pro tip: you can go to the back of the market and buy a bunch of food and rent a grill on top of the market for a unique experience. Wish they would tell you about that.
