So much fun and at your... - So much fun and at your own pace which was amazing. Much bigger than expected with so much wildlife. Loved every minute! Would 100% recommend

Unexpected Christchurch gem - Willowbank was an unexpected gem of Christchurch. It had a variety of wild animals that exceeds some zoos. The animals were out and about in the morning, providing my photographer husband with many unusual NZ subjects. We saw 2 kiwi. This is a must stop visit if you're in Christchurch.

Excellent wildlife park - Great fun afternoon viewing all the various animals and birds on display, even managing to see three kiwis in their enclosure. Well laid out park, accessible for all on boardwalks and paths with helpful signage outside each enclosure.

Great tour option for our cruise - This was a last-minute excursion for us when we were taking a cruise, and we were so glad that we made time to work this into our itinerary! We were so excited to get to see some of the New Zealand wildlife. Very well appointed and easy to navigate. My 81 year old Mother was able to make it through the park with her walker. We loved the kiwi exhibit in particular. It was easy to access through Uber. There’s a nice café on site where you can get a cold drink after your visit. Well worth the money and a great way to spend the afternoon in Christchurch.

recommend parents with their young children to go - It's fantastic trip visiting together with my daughter in summer.
It's a idyllic place that some cute animals can be tenderly touched and fed ,and also for parent to relax and stroll around.
I recommend to parents to go if their kids are really young.

不过这个地方真的值得孩子和家长去，0距离接触小动物，田园风光让人很放松。

Visit the reserve - We went on a rainy day, but it was the only opportunity to see the native animals while in town. The staff were great and very friendly. The reserve was very clean and well-organized. It was an overall great experience.

Amazing Kiwi Experience, but Currency Display Was Misleading - Seeing active kiwi up close was an amazing experience. There were many different birds and animals, and it was enjoyable even with children.
However, I am using an internet connection in New Zealand, yet the price was displayed only with a “$” symbol. I was informed after making the payment that the charge was in USD.
This was misleading, as there was no clear indication of the currency at the time of booking. Many users could easily assume the price is in their local currency.
I strongly recommend changing the system to clearly display the currency (for example, USD, NZD, etc.) before payment to avoid confusion and misunderstanding.

I liked the nature... - I liked the nature preserve. It had lush greenery and walkable paths. One thing though they needed better signage on their gravel paths. We did see a kiwi which was the highlight of the visit! Since they are nocturnal the building was dark. It took a few minutes for our eyes to adjust coming in from the sunlight. We ate at the cafeteria and had a delicious sandwich with fries.

First day - It was a very nice way to start your day in off in Christ Church. We got to see the variety of animals that are on the island.
