An accredited guide will greet visitors at the ticket booth and lead a 45-minute guided walk through native habitats, highlighting iconic species such as kiwi, kākāriki, kea, and tuatara, while sharing fascinating stories about them. Guests will have the opportunity to enter the Kea enclosure to observe these playful parrots up close, visit the Kiwi Nocturnal House, and see kākāriki, kākā, and tuatara in their respective enclosures. After the guided tour, visitors are welcome to explore the rest of the reserve at their leisure and learn about ongoing wildlife conservation and restoration initiatives.
