• Canterbury Plains - Leaving Christchurch, the tour travels through the remarkable Canterbury Plains, showcasing the stunning New Zealand farmland and countryside.
• Lake Tekapo - After passing through Geraldine, the tour heads towards the renowned blue waters of Lake Tekapo, traversing impressive alpine passes with breathtaking views. Upon arrival, enjoy the stunning view of the lake and take a quick photo at the iconic Church of the Good Shepherd.
• Lake Pukaki - Heading west, the tour enters Aoraki National Park, where Lake Pukaki comes into view. • Aoraki Mount Cook National Park (Te Wahipounamu) - Within the national park, enjoy 2 hours of free time for walks, hikes, or optional activities. Recommended options include the Kea Point Track, Blue Lakes, Tasman Glacier Walk, scenic flights, or visiting the Mt Cook Visitor Centre & Hermitage Hotel. The tour ensures convenient pick-up and drop-off.
• Lake Pukaki - The journey continues back along the picturesque Mt Cook highway, with views of the ever-changing glacier-fed lake.
• High Country Salmon - Leaving Aoraki/Mt Cook Village, the tour stops at High Country Salmon, a local salmon farm, where visitors can feed the fish and sample some of New Zealand’s freshest salmon.
• Lindis Pass - Ascending in altitude, Lindis Pass offers spectacular views through the valleys and is one of only three alpine roads through the otherwise impassable Southern Alps.
• Jackson Orchards - In the summer months, as the tour nears Queenstown, a stop at Jacksons Orchard allows for tasting or purchasing delicious local fruit or real fruit ice cream.
