A perfect day.... - Our guide was very knowledgeable about LOTR, helpful and amazing and that coupled with an absolutely beautiful day and scenery made it a perfect day. Would highly recommend it to others.

Adventure and beauty! - This was such a wonderful, full day experience! We had so much fun! The hike up and down mt sunday can be daunting and a bit dangerous if you unbalance easily

Great Tour! - Amazing tour even if you don’t know anything about Lord of the Rings. Beautiful scenery and walks. The tour operator was excellent. Natasha was our driver and guide. Great stories, informative, and funny. The walk up the Mountain is a bit tricky. Wear good shoes and warm clothing. Can be VERY windy. Weather very changeable. The six wheel truck to get us there was a bit stiff but overall comfortable. Lots of breaks on the way there and back. Provided us with a simple but excellent lunch. Take snacks though since it can be a while before lunch is served. Be careful about the pickup times and places. There seemed to be a bit of a disconnect between Viator and the Hassle Free Tours. But Hassle Free tours cleared it all up for us. Picked us up on time. Getting back to Christchurch can be a little bit chancy due to traffic. Highly recommended

Very interesting,informative and certainly scenic trip!The driver who was also our guide kept us well entertained along the way. - I learned so much about that landscape and what happened during the filming process.The weather was sunny throughout.

Super trip - magical - This tour was a very last minute decision and it completely outdid my expectations. A lovely tour guide and companions added to the vast and stunning scenery. The hike up is quite a challenge but worth it for the exceptional views. As a Lord of the Rings fan it exceeded my expectations. Couldn’t recommend this enough.

Fan Not a fan who cares - Absolute amazing day! I’m not a livid fan of Lord of the Rings but this tour was amazing! The scenery was beyond anything I have seen since visiting The Grand Canyon years ago! Our tour guide was the best!

Awesome Day! - This was a last-minute decision for me and I’m glad I made it. Hiking while carrying a battle axe was such an entertaining experience. The views were amazing, and the props were a lot of fun. Our tour guide, Natasha, made sure everyone had pictures taken if they wanted and a chance to pose with a prop weapon. The scenery was gorgeous, and you felt like you were in Middle Earth. The Lord of the Rings themed videos played on the bus were a nice way to spend the 2 + hours ride back to Christchurch.

Great trip - The journey to Edoras was long but was worth it. Nick was very informative. Cafe for morning tea was great and lunch was good.
