Accompanied by a Florida Master Naturalist Guide, explore the waters in search of dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, rosette spoonbills, herons, egrets, ospreys, eagles, and shorebirds. Discover the diverse ecosystems, rich history, and vibrant culture of the Everglades.
At the first sheltered stop, stable kayaks will be launched. The quietness of the kayak allows for close encounters with the local flora and fauna. The next stop is an uninhabited barrier island beach, where a leisurely, interactive walking tour awaits. Prepare to see an abundance of seashells.
After the walk, return to the kayaks, then the boat, and finally back to the starting point.
