An unforgettable journey to La Chorrera Waterfall! - I had a great tour with guide Alexander, which was very incredible and interesting experience! The tour was all smooth, I find out a lot of information about Columbian history and this region. In addition, we were lucky enough to spot some rare birds.

Absolute Must-do! - One of the absolute best things you can do while visiting Colombia. The mountains and waterfalls are absolutely spectacular. One of the most beautiful drives I’ve ever been on as well. Kata was an incredible guide.

Beautiful waterfall, incredible hike and perfect guide. - We had an amazing experience on the La Chorrera Hike Tour in Bogotá, and we can’t recommend it enough. The tour was beautifully planned, well organized, and truly showcased the natural beauty of the area. The hike itself was stunning and difficult while still being rewarding. Jorge was an exceptional guide—kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared fascinating information along the way and made the experience both educational and enjoyable. His passion for the region and attentiveness to the group really stood out. This was one of the highlights of our time in Colombia. If you’re considering La Chorrera, do yourself a favor and book this tour—especially with Jorge! Gran Colombia tours provided excellent communication.

Amazing hike and experience - Myself and a friend had a great experience hiking with Jorge and being picked up by a private driver. The drive itself was about an hour and half to the bottom of a gravel road in beautiful farmland. It was super cloudy driving up but we luckily had mostly clear conditions hiking. The hike was about two hours and intermediate difficulty. Jorge had great English, led us at a good pace despite the high altitude, and was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna. The hike was very beautiful. We booked With Lunch which was served at the restaurant at the park entrance. The beef was delicious. It’s a really great out and back hike to see El Chifon and the base of La Chorrea. Our guide and driver gave us a great experience. We were even able to briefly visit Santuario de Guadalupe on the way back. Would definitely recommend.

Highly Recommended - Had a great tour guide that was very informative and explained many things and answered all my questions. Highly recommended but it can be a tough hike with the elevation so be warned but worth the views

Waterfalls - Jorge was a great guide. This is a more strenuous hike than we were expecting but ever so beautiful. I would say definitely go for lunch as that was also amazing, green banana pancake. Views were so awesome. Thank you to Dario our taxi driver, who navigated the narrow roads.

Amazing experience! - This was a great experience from start to finish! I originally messaged with lots of questions about timing as we were on a 1-day layover so I needed to make sure everything would fit. Answers were very prompt and helpful. I confirmed the booking and 24 hours prior, our guide for the day, Jorge, sent a message saying hi and he would meet us the following day at a specific place. Very reassuring and organised. The trip itself was just incredible! The mountains are beautiful, and the waterfalls are divine. We went in dry season so they weren't as big as they are in the wet season, but they were still breathtaking. This is a pretty intense hike! The altitude certainly makes it higher; if you have a few days in Bogota, acclimatise yourself first. We went straight from the airport and were very breathless! The trails are a mix of pathway, rock and mud paths; hard going on the way up but you catch your breath on the way down. The views are just amazing, I've taken hundreds of photos and they still don't do it justice! Lunch at the restaurant was also great; I had the chicken and my friend had the vegetarian option. Huge portions! The bags to take on the hike were a brilliant touch too; local fudge style sweets (milk & sugarcane - I can't remember the proper name but delicious!), an apple, bottle of water and poncho in case of rain. Jorge was great fun and very informative about Bogota and Colombia as a whole. He was great at setting the pace and letting us rest. Also a great photographer! Honestly, this tour is so worth it - get it booked!
