- Ōte-mon Gate - The Otemon Gate serves as the majestic entrance to the Imperial Palace, formerly the main gate of Edo Castle. Today, it acts as a historic portal, inviting visitors to explore the palace’s peaceful East Gardens.
- Ote-San’no Gate Ruins - The Ote San-no-mon Gate Ruins signify the outermost gate of Edo Castle, once a vital defensive entry. Nearby, the Doshin Bansho Guardhouse functioned as a checkpoint where lower-ranking samurai maintained vigilance. Presently, these remnants provide insight into the castle’s strategic design and samurai-era security measures.
- Hyakunin Bansho Guardhouse - The Hyakunin Bansho Guardhouse was among the largest security posts of Edo Castle, where 100 samurai were stationed to safeguard the shogun. Located along the main path to the inner palace, it was integral to the castle’s defense. Today, it offers a window into Edo-period security and the duties of samurai.
