Huaraz - Pocpa - Rondoy

Chiquian - Travel south from Huaraz to Conococha at 4500 meters above sea level, then descend to Chiquian at 3350 meters. Continue to Llamac and Pocpa, where you will disembark and walk to the Rondoy campsite at 4200 meters.

Rondoy - Sambunya Pass - Jahuacocha

Huayhuash - From the Rondoy campsite, hike up to the Sambunya Pass, the highest point at 4800 meters above sea level, offering a stunning view of the Huayhuash Mountains. Descend to Solterococha, enjoying the magnificent landscape along the way, and arrive at the beautiful Jahuacocha campsite at 4200 meters, where dinner and camping await.

Jahuacocha - Llamac - Huaraz

Huayhuash - After breakfast at Jahuacocha, begin the descent to Llamac. The trail includes a gentle climb to Pampa Llamac, offering breathtaking views of the Huayhuash Mountains, including Yerupaja, the highest peak. Arrive in Llamac around noon, then take a public minibus back to Huaraz, with a transfer at Chiquian. Arrive in Huaraz around 6 PM and transfer to your hostel.
