We will meet at FLOATING DOCK #2. Our dock is down past the Harbor Masters Building. Our "UP THE BAY PONY TOUR" sign will be on a telephone pole as well a red sign showing "FLOATING DOCK #2."

Great Tour - Mike is a great guide. He knows the area well. His knowledge of the ponies is extensive. The boat was super comfortable. Highly recommend.

Wonderful! Captain Mike... - Wonderful! Captain Mike went the extra mile - actually an extra 4 miles and extra half hour to be sure we got a close look at some ponies.

Fantastic day with the ponies !! - What a fabulous tour! Mike's knowledge of the ponies and the island was impressive and he made every effort to ensure the we had a great experience. Not only did we see ponies, but we also had the pleasure of seeing dolphins too. The tour was beyond our expectations and we will definitely be returning !

Highly recommend! - We enjoyed the tour! Mike was knowledgeable and welcoming, going beyond expectations to make the experience memorable. We observed horses, dolphins, and several birds; Mike recalled the horses’ names and details along with the area’s history. We learned a great deal and had fun. We highly recommend it and will come back soon!

Fantastic close up trip - Captain Mike was on time. We had 6 people in our Boat and plenty of room. The Boat was beautiful, seats were soft /comfortable and clean - looked brand new. Captain Mike knew the complete history of Chincoteague plus the names and history of the horses as he has spent his life there. We got up very close to the horses, but kept some distance for safety. He also took extra time and we saw Dolphins too - he slowed up so we had plenty of time to wait and watch ... Double tour for our money. FANTASTIC trip. I would DEFINITELY recommend his Tour to anyone...

Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Awesome!! Our guide was very knowelagible about island history, the ponies including all of their names. Adjusted his tour to the expectations of the passengers to the point that he totally went off his normal tour routine. Can't say enough about him. He was absolutely wonderful. His name was Mike.

Captain Mike Rocks! - Captain Mike is the absolute best. Despite a gloomy and misty day, we had dolphins within 5 minutes of the tour. The. We saw 3 or 4 bands of ponies. Mike knew nearly every single one by name - and shared the drama and intrigue of the changing relationships between stallions and their “girlfriends”. Mike’s knowledge of the island since growing up here and being part of it all for the last 50 years is an absolute treasure. His recommendations for places to eat and things to do on the island were also spot on! Captain Mike and our 2 hours on the water was the highlight of our girls weekend!

Up the bay pony tours - Captain Mike took us out and having Grown up on the island, He had some amazing stories. We saw plenty of horses up very close. He knew right way to go he even spent some extra time with us and took us to see so. He’s a volunteer fireman there and works with the pony round up, so we heard some great stories about the round up! He could answer every question I asked, he knew the name of every horse, so if you want a tour that is informative, fun and adventurous, you should book with up the Bay pony tours! It was amazing! Our captain went above... - Our captain went above and beyond to make sure we saw ponies up close. He has a tremendous amount of knowledge of the area and was very informative. It was a fantastic day on the water and would highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful experience - Wonderful experience. The guide was very knowledgeable and personable. While we didn’t get to see the ponies up close, we did see the ponies. We also saw dolphins, bald eagles and a beautiful sunset. It was well worth it.
