- From the moment we arrived at Sky Dome Peru, we felt so welcomed and cared for. We were greeted with coca tea and instantly felt at home. We did the alpaca walk, alpaca picnic, and the Maras & Moray Salt Mines tour — all of which were flexible, personal, and unforgettable. The food here was some of the best we’ve had in Peru. Even though breakfast was included, we chose to eat all our meals on-site — everything from the papa rellena to the quinoa dish and pollo sopa was delicious and made with care. The domes are cozy and unique, and while there’s no heating, they provide warm water bags that kept us comfortable all night. The mountain views are unreal — waking up to that scenery was magical. Yoel, who led many of our tours, was an amazing guide and storyteller. The staff and owners are incredibly kind and made us feel like family. This place is truly special and one-of-a-kind. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Peru.

Must see, unique llama/alpaca experience in glass dome rooms!! - We came to Sky Done Perú based on another traveler’s recommendation and it was the best decision we could have made. I had scoured the internet looking for opportunities for my two boys to get to interact with the llamas and alpacas in a more organic way coming up empty handed! We arrived in the afternoon and were immediately greeted by the sweetest couple! They were so kind and welcoming to my husband and I and our two young boys, who were immediately taken in by the llamas and alpacas. The animals were friendly and great with our energetic boys. We did a walk with them and it was so fun for the boys to be llama shepards, walking them like we walk dogs! The dinner was amazing too. My oldest son loves lomo saltado and also cooking and asked them if he could help make dinner so he could learn how to make it at home, and our hosts freely allowed them to help! Finally, the views from the property were jaw-dropping both at sunrise and sunset. The glass dome rooms were unique, clean, and so fun to stay in! This was the best part of our time in Peru. If you are in the Cusco/Sacred Valley area, please stop by and visit this amazing family!! Xoxo Lisa, Bryan, Jackson, and Justin

It’s not just a lodging, it’s culture, it’s ancestrality, it’s love for the land. - I was in arrears to give my experience here.. From the beautiful smile of Cidelia that greets you, the table of corns, native potatoes at the entrance and quinoa, which Yoel explains what it means besides teaching us about the fabric and its culture.. the alpacas that they have.. some discarded and rescued by them, from the local producers. the views to the nearby snowy hills... the sunset... the sunset... a whole life experience.. Unfortunately we arrived of causality only one night because we competed in the lime maratjon the next day, but I would have stayed to live there!!... thank you a lot couple of beautiful people. Thank you also for cooking us vegan. I hope life takes me there again.

The best Sacred Valley tour I could have chosen! - I did the Sacred Valley tour with an alpaca walk… and it was absolutely perfect! From the very beginning, everything was so well organized — on time, super friendly, and very thoughtful with every detail. What amazed me the most was that, even though it was the most affordable tour I found, it was by far the most complete. We visited stunning spots with breathtaking views, far from the usual tourist crowds. The alpaca walk was truly magical. Walking side by side with these gentle animals through the Andes felt peaceful and unforgettable. And everything was personalized — the itinerary was adapted to our pace and preferences. You can really feel the love and respect they have for the local culture and nature. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience. Great value, beautiful organization, and lots of heart in every moment!
