Maras Salt Mines - The Maras Salt Mines feature over 3,000 pools of varying sizes, filled with saltwater that emerges from the subsoil of the Qaqawiñay mountain. The intense sunlight causes the water to evaporate, leaving behind salt crystals. These are then “harvested” using a wooden tool to scrape the salt, which is placed in small baskets to remove excess water. After a few days, the water flow is resumed, and the process is repeated.
Moray - Located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, the Moray archaeological site features agricultural terraces that resemble amphitheaters. These concentric terraces were constructed by the Incas as an agricultural laboratory. Each terrace has its own microclimate, depending on its depth. There are three circular complexes in total, which are popular tourist attractions.
Ollantaytambo Archaeological Park - Situated in the district of Ollantaytambo in the province of Urubamba, the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Park is 60 km in a straight line from the city of Cusco.
Traveling to Ollantaytambo can be done by bus, taxi, or through tours organized by tourism agencies in Cusco. Via the Chinchero-Urubamba route, the distance is 75 km, while the route through Pisac is 93 km.

Machu Picchu Historical Sanctuary - Known as the Lost City, Sacred City, and Cradle of the Inca Empire, Machu Picchu is situated 2,430 meters above sea level in a stunning location amidst a tropical mountain forest. The sanctuary of Machu Picchu is likely the most remarkable architectural achievement of the Inca Empire at its peak. Its massive walls, terraces, and ramps appear to be carved from the rock itself, blending seamlessly with the natural landscape. Located on the eastern slope of the Andes, it is part of the upper Amazon basin, which boasts a diverse range of flora and fauna.
