Choose Mubus - The Great Wall is obviously jawdropping, amazing, once in a lifetime experience, so I rather want to write about the tour operator. Mike and the Mubus team was amazing. You can pick between an 8am or 10am departure (we went on 8am) and obviously your return will be coordinated according to your departure (3.30 or 5.30) At the Mubus centre everyone speaks English and they are really helpful. All passengers get a free bottle of water and a voucher that is 5¥ off tea or coffee. Then you take the shuttle to the cable car that takes you to the wall. There are two segments that you can visit (there's time for both) but it's well explained on the way on the bus. You need to buy a cablecar ticket depending on which part of the wall do you want to visit. At the end of the experience when you go back to take the bus back to Beijing they offer you some really good quality tea and biscuits for free. Overall, very good organisation, clear explanation.

Great Wall in National Days Holidays - We didn't expect the traffic to be this good today! As a day during China's National Day holiday, the drive only took 1.5 hours—just like on a normal day! On the bus, Guide John told us in detail about the Great Wall's history, its construction process, and the most popular sections of Mutianyu Great Wall. He also helped us analyze options, select the best route, and quickly put together a travel plan. Additionally, he helped us buy cable car tickets while we were on the bus. His English was very fluent and easy to follow, and his speech was so inspiring that it made people feel an urge to have a go. When we arrived at the Great Wall, it was already noon. We had lunch inside the MuBus building; the food was abundant and tasted very fresh. This was one of the most impressive meals we had during our stay in Beijing. Surprisingly, there weren't as many people climbing the Great Wall as we had thought, so we didn’t have to wait in line for the cable cars at all. We walked leisurely on the Great Wall, and the weather was perfect—allowing us to see distant mountains and the Great Wall clearly. It was an amazing trip!

Well organized!! - We loved it! Everything was well organized and we felt really welcomed by the team from Mubus. Mike was our Guide and he explained us all the relevant aspects of the great wall during our bus ride from Beijing to the Great Wall. Mike gave us also tips where to go first and second to avoid the crowds. At the end we had even the chance to choose the time when we want to go back to Beijing. It was perfect for us!

Greatwall. Great guide service!!! - The journey to the Great Wall by bus took us 2 hours, which was surprisingly great! We knew that these days were part of China’s National Day holiday, and our guide John said it had taken more than 3 hours the day before. On the bus, though, John gave us a detailed breakdown of the Great Wall’s history, its construction process, and the most popular spots at Mutianyu Great Wall. He also helped us analyze options and finalize our travel plan. With plenty of time on the bus, he checked all our passport numbers just in case. What’s more, he assisted us in purchasing cable car tickets right on the bus. His English was fluent, and he answered all kinds of questions with patience—he was quite a professional guide. After we arrived at the Mutianyu Great Wall bus station, we made our way through the bustling crowd. Various kinds of performances could be seen everywhere here, and you could feel the joyful atmosphere—even though there were quite a few tourists, our mood was deeply lifted by this enthusiasm. Fortunately, with John's help, we took a shortcut to board the shuttle bus, saving a lot of time. After some time queuing, we stood on the mountain top with the help of the cable car. The famous Great Wall stood right in front of us, and we couldn't help but be in awe of this magnificent and grand project. We wandered leisurely along the wall, and the weather couldn’t have been better; it let us see the distant mountains and the endless stretch of the Great Wall clearly. All in all, it was an amazing trip.

Great China Wall - My wife and I went on tour to the Great China Wall. The experience was amazing and our tour guide Mike was super informative and helpful during the tour. He explained the history of the wall so well and made sure we knew exactly which stations to visit. I highly recommend Mubus for this trip.

Must Visit - Standing on the watchtower of Mutianyu Great Wall and looking into the distance, the amazing view is far exceeded my expectations! This longest building on earth , stretching all the way to the horizon, made people can't help but want to shout out in admiration. The weather was so beautiful that we could even clearly see the ruins of the unrepaired Great Wall in the distance! We took numerous photos! Our guide John was so enthusiastic and friendly, with perfect English. He told us a lot about the construction history of the Great Wall, and his narration was very engaging. The only minor down of this trip was the severe traffic jam on the way to the Great Wall. Apart from that, there was nothing to complain about. There were not many people on the Great Wall, and we didn't have to wait in line for the cable car, which made us very surprised. Moreover, the Mubus Company has its own independent building where we could rest and drink tea for free. Of course, we could also get a discount if we wanted to have coffee. It was a very comfortable and great trip!
