Join an 8-9 hour trekking adventure to the Torres Base Lookout, led by certified guides. Experience the stunning beauty of Torres del Paine National Park on this challenging hike, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and the iconic view of the three Granite Towers. The journey begins early, with pickup scheduled between 06:15 and 07:00 AM to head to the park.
After a 2-hour drive, the trek commences across the historic bridge over the Asencio River. The path leads to Camping El Chileno, nestled among lengas and the majestic Mount Admiral Nieto. The ascent continues to a viewpoint at 700 meters above sea level, where the trail becomes more challenging.
The trek culminates at Torres Base, offering spectacular views of the Towers, Comb, and Condor Nest. There will be time to relax and enjoy a box lunch. The return follows the same trail back to the vehicle, which will transport participants back to Puerto Natales. This is an unforgettable experience in the heart of Patagonia.
- Consider that if due to physical exhaustion they cannot reach the base viewpoint towers , passengers should follow the instructions of the guide and / or assistant to the group charge
- Consider that if when arriving at the Morrena sector the passenger cannot follow the route to the Mirador due to physical limitation, the passenger must wait for the group in this sector or get off to Chilean campsite , which is a safe place to wait for the group
- Not Suitable for people with hip, leg and knee problems
- Passengers must have adequate physical conditions to allow for 8 to 9 continuous hours of walking on ascent and descent with small rest
