Great way to experience the Andes beauty - This was an amazing tour! A great escape out of the city and into the beautiful mountains surrounding Santiago. Andres, Iris and Mathias were amazing guides that went above and beyond making sure we were going at a good pace on the hike and teaching us bits of history and culture about Chile. And a lovely way to end the hike at the hotsprings.

10/10 hike and hot springs excursion! - Andrés and Iris were great tour guides! Andres is very knowledgeable and was considerate about safety with hiking and hydration. Iris is warm and welcoming. The hike was short, but more vigorous than expected given the altitude. The views were beautiful. We went to the hot springs after the hike and it was not too crowded. It was just the right amount of time to enjoy them.

Most memorable part of my entire trip - This was an absolute blast. From the moment I started even thinking about going on the tour to the moment I was dropped back off directly at our hotel we had a top notch experience. Hiking in the Andes was a dream come true for me. The sky was a deeper blue (almost purplr) than id ever seen. After the hustle and bustle of Santiago it was so nice to get away and We didn't see anyone else on trail. Raimundo was a great guy and helped me to learn about Chile, Geology, Glaciers, and the Andes. I truly enjoyed listening and learning from him. Iris was very friendly and helpful getting us all to the hotsprings and made sure we had a good time. She was wonderful. Our driver got us where we needed to go efficiently and played great music. Please note the road is very bumpy at times but that's all part of the fun. If you are deciding on weather to go or not I say go for it. A trip of a lifetime you won't soon forget. My wife and I feel blessed to make memories in this beautiful part of the world.

Hike and Hot Springs - worth it! - It’s a beautiful hike with knowledgeable and friendly guides, stunning views of the Andes, to a beautiful meadow with a stream and natural springs. We saw wildflowers, beautiful high mountains, birds and horses, and they provided a nice packed lunch and water for us too. The max altitude will be about 8200ft, not high enough for altitude sickness, but there were some moderately steep inclines that caused some exertion but they gave lots of breaks and provided hiking poles. We did the optional hot springs add-on which is was preferred to just the longer hike! It was so relaxing and such a unique experience, the hot springs themselves felt like they were at the end of the earth, nestled on the side of a deep valley. Our guides Elias and Andres made it especially fun. Would 100% do again.

An adventure with thermal waters to relax. - We went from Santiago in a common rented car. The road in the last 20 miles is a little ruin, but it doesn't need a 4x4. Just drive slowly and carefully. The experience is unique, taking a bath of hot thermal water, looking at the mountains and snowy valleys, right near you, around. The infrastructure at Baños Colina is really minimal, and rustic, with a collective dressing room for men and women, with cold water in the taps and showers, and there are no wardrobes or cabinets to store your belongings while taking the thermal baths. It's an adventure, but very valid.

A really nice day in the mountains! - This is a great day trip and the highlight of my trip to Santiago. Our guide, Gonzalo, is a seasoned professional who is enthusiastic and knowledgeable and just a lot of fun to hang out with. The mountain scenery is gorgeous and they take great care of their guests. The 4k hike is broken into short, manageable segments with rests and plenty of time to take pictures and enjoy the valley at the base of the volcano. Not easy, but not as hard as some medium difficulty hikes. The second half to the hot spring is unusual, but how often do you get to sit in a pool with water heated by a volcano? It was relaxing, with a number of pools at different temperatures to choose from. At the end of the day somehow Gonzalo arranged a flyover by two condors as we were enjoying snacks to cap the day. The only down side is the van ride is rough between the hike and the springs, but that is unavoidable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who can make the hike. Take note of the guidance provided by the operator to get the most out of your day.

Andres made this such a special tour! - It had recently snowed and Andres took us on a beautiful hike in the Andes. He is very knowledgeable and provided a lot of information about the flora, fauna, and the geological features. When we mentioned that we had just gotten engaged he sprung into action and took some professional looking photos for us :) The hot springs were the perfect way to relax after the hike. Thansk for a wonderful day!
