Excellent experience and beautiful scenery - The tour starts with a traffic trip of more than 1 hour to Cajon del Maipo but is quite entertaining by the landscapes that are seen and explanations of the guides, when you arrive you begin the walk that has several stops to hydrate and take pictures, the landscapes are beautiful and the walk becomes very enjoyable. As much as it was November I recommend wearing a coat and a windbreaker jacket as the day can be very windy. The hike is of intermediate difficulty but I recommend wearing trekking shoes, some people went with sneakers and while you can do the hike in some places it can be slippery. We were joined by Laura and Paty as guides, both excellent professionals and you can see that they love what they do, Laura went to the beginning of the line and Paty at the end so that each person finds their rhythm, during the tour they were informing us about the flora and fauna of the place and giving explanations. When we reached the last stop we stayed about 1 hour to have lunch and continue to appreciate the landscape. Then we made the walk back and at the end of the tour we were greeted with wines and cheeses!! If you like nature and trekking this tour is ideal. Laura and Paty geniuses!!! Thank you very much

Amazing experience. - Beautiful experience. Horse riding was amazing, very scenic. Hike was Hard but very rewarding hike - the base camp is at 4800 meters and I got altitude sickness; thankfully, I had medicine for it so it didn’t impact me much at all. Guide Dario was very professional, knowledgeable, kind and caring. He didn’t rush us and was helping us the entire way.

Day trip - Great day trip. More casual hike than I’m used to. Slow pace. Fantastic guides who are very knowledgeable about the area, ecology, geology, and history of the region. The door to door service makes it so easy.

Would recommend - Incredible guides and stunning trek!!!! Hike is not too difficult but the altitude made it a bit harder. The guides went slowly and allowed people to rest when needed.

A very successful Plan B - Due to heavy rains access to the valley was impossible and our guides Laura and Matias offered us a tour to El Yeso reservoir. Very professional, an appreciable aperitif in front of magnificent landscapes and rich information on the country, fauna and flora. And the organizer GetYourGuide has made a refund for the new tour. I really recommend it. (Perfect and on time transport)

Stay away from Ando Andes tour company!!! - I booked this tour via Expedia. A day after the booking the owner Rai contacted me and mentioned that he didn’t have enough people. So be gave the option to get the refund or take the Andes Day Lagoon as an alternative option. I took the alternative option only to find out that 6 of us were crammed into a very small minivan with no place for luggage storage and the third row was used instead for luggage storage. Almost all of us in this tour are so tall i had to sit straight and crammed for the entire tour. There was an elderly man that could walk only with a stick was crammed into the middle seat. This is against all safety norms. Three out of the six of us found out that we all booked for the same volcano tour and instead took this alternate Andes day lagoon tour as that volcano tour was cancelled for lack of minimum number of people. The lesson learned here is don’t ever book any tour with this company because they will cancel the tour you want and will provide alternates. The second lesson is these guys are so focused on making money that they cram you into very small vehicles that should not be used at all for such tours violating all safety norms.
