Great piramid - My wife and I were very curious to visit this archaeological site, especially because my wife is a follower of Mayan and Egyptian cultures. We were truly fascinated by the pyramids. The people in the region are extremely kind and welcoming. We only recommend not relying solely on the tour description that mentions a 5-hour duration, as the full experience actually takes more than 12 hours. Later, it was explained to us that the 5 hours refer only to the time spent at each activity.

It is real - in Chichén Itzá was very enjoyable as a family. We were able to explore the archaeological site at a comfortable pace, learn about its history, and spend quality time together. Afterwards, the kids had a great time swimming in the cenote it was their favorite part of the day. We took several photos, walked quite a bit, and appreciated every detail of the place. It was a very enriching visit, and it’s definitely an experience we would love to repeat.

December in Chichenitza - The tour coordinator did not have a friendly treatment and as a suggestion in season with a lot of visitors it would be better to cut the sites to visit

ChiChen Itza!!! - Great experience! Tour of 65 people. It is a 12 hr tour. Choose the all inclusive so you can have snacks and drinks on board and your fees are covered. Otherwise bring some snacks ( we saved about 150 dollarswith the cheapest option) It is a long drive, they take u to lunch first. Theres bathroom in the bus. They take u to a shop and cacao place where they sell u things then u go for lunch.if u ask me, that was a waste of time. They ask u not to.bring drinks inside so u can buy their drinks. Food buffet is good. Not much option for diabetics, they do not have sugar free options, as u know they love their sugar. ChiChen Itza is great. Lots to learn. I am a history junkie soo this was great. Our English tour guide was great. Then we did cenote.. it was great but such a short time only an hour.. wish we could have spend more time there than the shop they make us go and shop. Villadoid was great too but half hour?? Is not enough. Drop off was seamlessly after we drop off ppl from AVA resort.. oh my that drop off took 30 mins. Lol. Anyways. It is great but wasted time on the shops before the lunch, we also wasted time picking up ppl who werent even in our tour but was on another tour..

Long and ill-considered excursion - A tour that has become very long and badly stumped. I got up at 6am and finally got home at 9.30pm and esuqe in the morning gets really heavy. You're going to pick everyone up from your hotel for 1 hour. Then you get pulled over at a point to check in and you get another easy hour. Total at the end you end up leaving at 9:30, considering that there is 3h to Chichen Itza from Cancun and another 3h back you already throw 6h on the way to lose so much time at the beginning. Add to this a bad approach to the excursion. The activity starts with lunch, Chichen Itza, cenote and valladolid. Well instead of starting with lunch start with Chichen Itza because in the end between trying to sell you coffee, souvenirs, lunch etc you arrive in Chichen itza at the time that is hottest and where there is less shade. This way if we go first thing you plant yourself in less heat. And then even if it is hot, the food can be made in the tent that shades. Also considering that it is so many hours that stop in the middle of the excursion to eat would help not be so hungry the rest of the activity. At the same time there is a lot of stopping time at each point which makes us also to Valladolid at night, and with it you can hardly see the town normally. Plus you're already looking forward to getting to the hotel after so long walking around. Less time in the morning and more use the day to not make it so long.

The excursion says 5 hrs... - The excursion says 5 hrs but it lasted over 14 hrs, we did not plan to spend that much time on the tour so we were not prepared for such a long time. This was labeled as English tour but the tour guide Jorge mainly spoke Spanish and just said a few words in English and it was hard to follow. There was a fee for a reservation for $55 which it appeared this was optional as with the fee for the life vests for the Cenote. But we were asked to pay this without an option not to go. We were brought to a Mayan village which was not an authentic experience and everything was an additional charge. The prices for souvenirs were way higher than when we got to Chichen Itza. This Mayan village was not listed as a stop on the tour description, we were forced to eat lunch at 11 am. We spent the most time at this village and the other stops were given less time as we spent most of our time there. The trip to Chichen Itza was a great experience as the tour guide Roberto was very knowledgeable and detailed with his explanations, however, since we spent so much time at the fake Mayan village we were not able to spend as much time at Chichen Itza. The Cenote and the other village was a good experience. I would not recommend this tour to anyone, the highlight should have been Chichen Itza but it seems like the focus was on the Mayan Village and a money grab

Beware!! - We got royally scammed by these folks. First they didn’t fully disclose the additional fees that we were supposed to pay. We ended up paying additional 125% more off the original that was paid to Viator. Throughout the trip, they keep trying to up sell you more. The lunch place has a shop that tries to sell everything 4-5 times more than what you would get in the market otherwise. The tour had 2.5 hours stop at Mayan heritage site and one hour at Cenote. I wish it were other way around. While dropping us back to hotel, they dropped us off on the Main Street. We had to walk about half a mile in the rain to get to Hotel lobby. Overall Very disappointed that we booked this tour via them. The good thing was, guide spoke well in English.
