Incredible experience - Incredible experience, the cenotes should be a must visit in anyone's bucket list. Visiting Chichén Itzá is traveling in time and getting to know more of the Pre-Columbian era and the Mayan culture. The only drawback is the length of the tour that is a little tiresome.

Limestone natural and man-made ! - It's a long day! It can be a hot afternoon. Carry your snacks if you are vegetarian! It's unique architecture at the itza and the ceynotes were amazing. I don't swim so cannot comment on that experience. Personally I would rather people did not get in. Nevermimd which sun screen you are using.... I would definitely recommend this tour.

A good option for lots of sightseeing but beware the sketchiness - This trip was good value for money but long! 15 hours from pick up to drop off. It was a good option to see a lot in one day if you are up for it. Beware some of the sketchiness though. The tour guide tried to get me to exchange pesos for Australian money he just happened to have on him. He said it was a tip but he had an envelope full of fresh $50s. Also something failed on the bus and the last hour there was an overwhelming smell of stale urine. Everyone has their noses in their shirts.

Average - Hello. I did this tour with my husband as we wanted to visit chichen itza and several cenotes. All these places are beautiful and we had a great time. The tour included breakfast and lunch, the taste was very good. The problem was logistics, we were picked up at the hotel at 550am. We arrived at chichen itza 5hr later, because we were picking up passengers, we went to carmen beach and we were north of cancun. Back it was the same although we were passed to a smaller car to bring us. We arrived at the hotel at 10pm, the tour took us 16hr. Apart from that logistics the driver and the boys on the tour did an excellent job. Importantly, when you book you have to pay an additional 1100mx p/w is close to $65 p/w. What the app doesn't tell you is that it has to be cash.

Horrible. - We waited 45 minutes instead of meeting before the bus arrived The guides were really not friendly What you are served food on excursions is never extraordinary but there it was just filthy We had a meal planned in the evening, with the delay in the morning we returned home at 9pm.... It's been way too long since 7:00 in the morning The fees paid for archaeological taxes do not just concern chichen itza but obviously part of it is mandatory in donation which is not the case if you go even to chichen itza I do not recommend this excursion This is our third time in chichen ever I've had such a catastrophic excursion

Don’t ef-n do it - While the tour was alright- we forgot shoes in the bus that were confirmed to have been left behind and then suddenly ‘nothing was left behind’ that alone leads me to a ZERO STAR experience. While I tried to splurge and treat my kids to a one of a kind experience, I was not aware that I was volunteering to a one sided second hand donation system if items were left behind. Very disappointing and extremely trusty- please reach out to facilitate the return of my lost & found items. Regardless of being citizens of here or there- high top Jordan ones are expensive- it is not okay nor fair to suddenly loose those just bc somebody does not want to do their job.

Sketchy - Nothing against the places we visited, and nothing against the Mayan guides, but like I just messaged the tour operators and got no response, this review would have been positive but now I'm actually worried I was being set up. They started off going to the wrong Hotel and leaving me hanging for 30 minutes this morning. They ended it by dropping me off in the middle of Playa del Carmen, telling me to go straight 3 blocks. Take a right, then a left and my transfer would be there waiting for me. I thought it was strange I had to go all that far out of my way, but listened and followed instructions. All that was waiting for me was a group of sketchy men hanging by the beach behind Allstra resort. I walked half way toward them, looked around, No vans, no cars parked with anyone in it. Everyone else on that tour had transfers waiting very close by. Mine seemed kind of out of the way. Why wouldn't the transfer just come closer, call, or attempt to look for me if I didn't show? They had it planned I had to go meet him down a side road 4 blocks away on a dark street behind the back of a resort near the docks. I couldn't have missed it. I received no call or message for my concern when not arriving to meet the transfer which raised my suspicion , no response what so ever when I tried contacting them. I retraced my steps, I tried calling repeatedly, I tried messaging. I walked it over and over for 30 minutes. All that was in that spot was a group of seriously sketchy looking men waiting exactly where I was told to go to by the beach behind Alltra's resort. It's been over 2 hrs since they dropped me off. No response.; Unless my transfer was a boat, there was no way a transfer would even be there. There is something so wrong about this. Just giving you a heads up.
