Mayan History is fascinating - It was such a great experience to visit the Mayan Ruins and learn their history. Our tour guide and bus operator were amazing. They really took care of us. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history and we had great conversation on the bus.

Great Myan history - A very well organized tour. Picked up right on time from our hotel. Our driver, Carlos, was very friendly, good driver and provided drinks, snacks and bathroom breaks on the way there and back. Our guide, Moises, a Myan descendent, was very knowledgeable and explained the tour and some Myan history history on our 2.5 hour van ride. Once we arrived, Moises had a great pace to the onsite tour. He explained the various structures and meanings of the stone art work, gave time for pictures and answered many questions from our group. I would recommend this tour, especially with Carlos and Moises.

Fantastic tour and tour guides :) - From the moment we got picked up from the hotel and dropped off Sergio and Antonio (Luis) were fantastic! Sergio explained how the day would plan out from the very start and made sure the trip was interactive throughout, he was full of knowledge and ensure the group stayed together and no one was left out. I am a fussy eater, so I was slightly worried about the lunch options, however I was happily surprised they had both meat and vegetarian option which I thought was great! Hats off to Antonio as it was a very early start and a long drive and he carried on with a smile! Highly recommend, so much to see and learn!

Guide Victor - This trip hit all the right high notes! Victor was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Chichén Itza. He gave us an insight on tons of Mayan history before our arrival, and he made our tour very interesting! 10/10 be sure to get your Mayan Birthdate Calendar ❤️ the trip is a must and I am so grateful our tour guide was as invested in our trip as we were.

Love it, just not all the Mayan products made in China. - Loved the history just not a lot to see since you can’t go up the steps or into any buildings. Expect to see a lot of Mayan gifts made in China. That I didn’t like, where are the true artisans of Mayan Culture? I understand it’s about the money but I too can buy what they’re selling by putting in an order to China. I just wanted authentic Mexican made items and didn’t find it there or Mercado 28.

Short one half day tour... - Short one half day tour to see major ruins. Every pathway around the ruins was filled with people selling all kinds of trinkets etc. I understand it’s their livelihood but it’s really distracting from walking and looking at the ruins with people always trying g to get your attention. Know this ahead of time so you can mentally prepare. Of note: the seatbelt for my seat directly behind the driver was broken.

Not at all happy! - It was supposed to be a 3 hour tour and took 9 hours in total. The site was lined with hundreds of souvenir sellers shouting at you to buy their trinkets. Our “small” group was 19 people including the driver and guide. The van was crowded and uncomfortable bouncing until my neck hurt. The guide was a nice person but not at all knowledgeable. He would struggle with his English and ramble on off topic. The site was extremely busy and crowded with tourists . I feel like I should get part of my fee back!! Not at all happy and Cancún Adventures sucks!
