I loved all the special little stories about the pedway. I enjoyed Margaret and the way she talked about the pedway and the city with passion. I do think that is what made this tour so great. Margaret herself. Thanks for sharing your verve for the city with us! Next time we are back we will book another tour!
Margaret gave a terrific tour!
Margaret was awesome! A fun, informative tour
Margaret made a seemingly mundane topic exciting and interesting. This was the perfect activity to do while my parents were visiting. She is hilarious and great at handling all different types of people.
This tour takes you through an unusual, underground part of the city. Margaret is the perfect guide; she knows the pedway inside out and loves sharing it.
Margaret is very friendly and the tour was really interesting.
Margaret had such positive energy throughout the whole tour! I learned many facts about the Chicago Pedway system!
Super fun experience.
We enjoyed every minute! Margaret just enjoys sharing her knowledge of Chicago. She can take the littlest bit of information and make it totally interesting! I would highly recommend this tour!
Margaret knows her stuff!
Few, if any, know more about the Pedway than Margaret.
Super fun and I learned a lot, even as a Chicago native.
Funny, engaging, and informative -- this is an intentionally weird tour through a Chicago curiosity usually known only to Chicago insiders. Margaret builds a mythology around the Chicago Pedway that makes the tour feel like a descent into a Neverwhere-style demi-monde, leaving you with occult skills and knowledge that make you feel like you've been let in on a secret part of Chicago.
Margaret does a fantastic job at keeping the tour very informative and fun. I recommend this excellent tour!!
If you want an architecture tour, artwork, celebrity watching and local Chicago flavor WITHOUT the crowds, than this is the tour for you. The 'red baseball' cap girl has lived the Pedway and so she is able to mix historical facts with current events and she even throws in a few comic moments. Your group tour is small so that you can add to the tour or ask the odd question at anytime, which makes it that much more entertaining. And she's right, 50% of Chicagians don't know about the Pedway.
Margarets bubbly character and her enthousiasm made this trip into the little known depths of Chicago a real treat. I wished it could have carried on for another hour!

A great way to make the best of a rainy day! Margaret was enthusiastic, informative and committed to making sure everyone had a good time. Would highly recommend the tour to anyone interested in seeing Chicago from a whole new perspective.
Great tour and guide! Perfect for natives or visitors who want something unique.
Margaret was so funny and engaging! She did a great job of telling the history of the Ped way and Chicago history as well!!! We ABSOLUETLY loved the tour and plan on going on all of Margarets tours ... She's fantastic!
Margaret is the quintessential fun tour guide. Quirky, unique, caring and warm. Her tour was packed with interesting information. We took this tour for the first time in 2011, and it was different-it was summer vs winter, and the tour takes on a different personality with the seasonal change. It was wonderful, and this time our two children(7 and 10yo) partook with is. There were people from Alabama, Texas, and Nebraska on the tour with us!
