The guide & past prison guards were very informative. What we saw was amazing. Fantastic commentary about the history. Even though we were soaked by the rain, we found the tour amazing. Please thanks the young lady tour guide (sorry forgot her name).
Knowledgable guides. Good effort to gradually open parts of the facility.
Very interesting! Would love to see it completely restored!
The history of that old prison was so interesting. We got to go into some of the cells and buildings which was fascinating. Our tour guide was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable, glad to answer our questions, and made us feel welcome. What a great tour.
Used to live in Joliet and have always wanted to see inside the old prison. We postponed going home by a few hours to make sure we were able to take the tour. Can't wait to go back next year and see all of the progress that has been made! Very informative and everyone was very friendly.
It was interesting and I think it could turn into something big.
