A tour of chicago’s gruesome history. - It was a very fun and interesting tour. Our guide was Joseph Rulli. He did a great job taking us around to the sites. The horror of hundreds being burned alive and their bodies staked out in front of the smoldering theater was just the start of our hour and half adventure. We listened in disbelief of how many times the city caught fire and burned. The creepy cemetery and the bodies that still remain without a marker. We visited the spot were Lincoln practice his speech to the locals who passed bye. The horror story of the hotel were one of America’s first Serial killers killed and butchered his victims. It ended in front of Al Capone’s favorite dinner were the legendary mobster ruled Chicago. How Bugsy Moran escaped the Bloody Valentine Day massacre. The backdrop of the towering building and dark alleyways gave the tour a special touch.

Great tour for anyone visiting Chicago for the first time. - The tour was structured well and the guide was knowledgeable, able to answer questions. We were able to hear her despite the busy Chicago streets. The tour was a good length for the price. Would recommend!

Night in Chicago - This was a fun tour, something that you can do at night when things slow down. I enjoyed the experience and the interesting facts of what makes this city spooky! Joe was a great guide with a lot of knowledge and a fun personality. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to hear about some of the most infamous incidents in Chicago history!

Good experience - Our guide Joe was incredible, he was funny and had all the fun and gory facts about the town. Nevertheless, I felt like we learnt a lot about places we didn’t have time for but a lot less about the places we actually got to go to. Otherwise, the night was really enjoyable and I would still recommend it to anyone!

No Ghosts - Just History - Our guide Joe was upbeat and funny, which made the tour enjoyable. We got to see a lot of the city and heard some interesting historical stories tied to various locations. However, despite the name, the tour didn’t include any ghost stories or hauntings—it was more of a history tour focused on events where people died. If you’re hoping for spooky tales or paranormal experiences, this probably isn’t the right tour for you. But if you’re interested in a slightly different take on Chicago’s history than what’s offered on typical daytime tours, this could be worth considering. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re expecting a traditional ghost tour.

Not mad, just disappointed - I go on a lot of tours all over the world, this one was disappointing. The guide was using notes and it felt like she was reading from a script. Didn’t really research or have passion for the stories she told and didn’t even tell the stories near the locations where those stories occurred. I have been on other ghost tours in Chicago and those stories were told better and I was standing where they happened. I brought a friend along who had never been on a ghost tour and I was embarrassed, he’ll probably never join me for another because of this experience,

Satisfaction guarantee is false - Guide was distracted with protest, spent half the time walking around closures, and the guide constantly apologizing for not bring able to give the full tour since we were unable to cross half the streets. The guide even recommended we request a refund since he was unable to provide a proper tour. Despite the company's satisfaction guarantee, they refused to provide a refund.
