I Did Not Want to Go There But I’m Glad I Did - The entrance to the building was confusing but once in, the directions were very clear. There was plenty of staff to ensure safety and efficacy and to assist. Along the path to the elevator to the skydeck was an immersive experience of Chicago, history, architecture, music, food, etc. The elevator to the very top was filled with soft music and immersive photos. Once at the top, there was plenty of room for photos and sightseeing with landmarks of the town indicated. I did not go out on the ledge but the rest of my family did.

A Must Visit in Chicago! 🌆✨ - Everything was great! With your tickets, you can enter easily, and the building is very well signposted, so it’s easy to find your way around. You can park on the street or in a nearby garage. I definitely recommend going in the morning when they open at 9 AM, because there are fewer people and you have more time to take pictures without so much waiting. There is plenty of signage once you enter, so you won’t get lost. It’s definitely worth visiting!

Beautiful views - Beautiful views even with the fog. Very crowded. We didn’t do the ledge due to the lengthy line but enjoyed all the photos ops!

Pleasant weekday experience - We went there on a Friday morning at 10:30, expecting to see long lines, but were pleasantly surprised. Entry was smooth. We reached the top after browsing through an interesting exhibition of displays and dioramas of Chicago history. At the top we stood in a short line to step on the ledge. Each group gets a timed 90 seconds, so be ready with your camera! You are allowed to get back in line for a second chance. The young lady there was obliging enough to to take pictures of our family.

Great view over Chicago (unfortunately also only through the window) - The Willis (formerly Sears) Tower is the tallest building in Chicago and offers a great view of Chicago. I had already booked my ticket in advance via the website. However, there were relatively few people, and I could have also bought the ticket directly on-site. As with the John Hancock Tower, the view here is also only through the window, which is always a real shame. A positive aspect is that you do not have to pay separately for the Ledge (glass balcony). Thus, I would give the Skydeck of the Willis Tower a slight advantage.
