In this Adventure, participants will use our mobile app to explore Lincoln Park Zoo, discovering the history of the 35-acre site that is home to 1,100 animals. Compete with others on the Leaderboard to determine who is the top scavenger hunter in Chicago! Simply download the app from Google Play or the Apple App Store and start whenever it suits you. The recommended hours for this Adventure are between 8am-5pm, but be sure to check for early closing times on holidays! The Lincoln Park Zoo Scavenger Hunt can be paused and resumed at any time, allowing you to take breaks or return another day to complete it.

The Lincoln Park Zoo spans 35 acres and houses 200 different species from across the globe, featuring over 1,100 animals. It also offers programs focused on conservation, environmental protection, and education. Each December, ZooLights attracts thousands of visitors to experience the zoo’s festive holiday decorations at night. Conveniently located just a few miles north of downtown Chicago!
Our scavenger hunt includes eight objectives that cover the entire zoo grounds, including the Nature Boardwalk and Farm-in-the-Zoo. The zoo welcomes visitors every day of the year, operating from 8 AM to 5 PM on weekdays and 8 AM to 7 PM on holidays. Admission is free.
