Tourist tour! - This was an awesome look at the brutal history of humanity, makes you wonder why they were so sadistic… What would they have done today?..

- The museum is very cool, interactive but not scary (other than learning about historical torture). 5/5 and would recommend to anyone in the area looking for something to do in the afternoon!

- Creepy and awful, there was a hilarious experience, the museum is so explicit and have different torture medieval methods, the sculptures are so realistic and I love the experience being with the people inside here

Interesting and not your ordinary tour. - It was a very interesting experience. I was able to go at my own pace because it was self guided tour. Definitely worth the see!

One of the coolest museums! - I absolutely loved the facts! There were so many statues and interactive areas where we got to learn new things! I would definitely recommend coming here!

A Chilling, Fascinating Journey into the Dark Side of History - The Medieval Torture Museum is not your typical tourist attraction — it’s intense, thought-provoking, and at times deeply unsettling, but that’s exactly what makes it memorable.
From the moment you step in, you’re immersed in a world of medieval justice (or injustice), with lifelike exhibits, detailed descriptions, and a surprisingly educational narrative about how cruelty was once institutionalized. Each room explores different devices and techniques, and the accompanying stories provide historical context without glorifying the brutality. It’s horrifying — but in a way that sheds light on how far society has (hopefully) come.
