Better than I expected. - The people were very friendly. The helicopter was clean, and the pilot was very professional. This was my wife and granddaughter's 1t time i a helicopter. This was my 1st time in a civilian Helicopter. I flew in a lot of Marine Corps Helicopter many years ago in Viet Nam.

FLY HELI IN CHICAGO ✨ - Amazing tour of Chicago, IL!! You’re not going to want to come back down. Everything was spectacular from start to finish. Their parking lot was secluded from all the street parking which was nice. Overall- very nice tour operation we got ourselves at Vertiport Chicago.

Big Disappointment - I booked a flight for my 50th birthday, Saturday, August 23rd. The time of the flight was 2pm and my party arrived at around 1:30pm. The temperature was around 80 degrees and there was a light breeze. When we checked in we were told that it was too windy to go up and it looked like it was going to get worse. So we waited about an hour and a half. We had other commitments that day so we decided to leave. We were asked by the receptionist did we want a night flight which we rejected because we wanted a daytime flight and one of our commitments was a fireworks cruise on The First Lady. We were then told that we could come back the next day (Sunday) and they would call us around 11am to lock down a time. Fast forward to Sunday around 11:30 and we have received no phone call. So we go to heliport and we are told that since so many people had to be rescheduled from Saturday, that Sunday was booked but we could go on a night flight which I once again rejected. The receptionist wanted to reschedule me for Monday but I was leaving on Monday and I wanted the flight for my birthday, not two days later. At this point I wanted my money back so another receptionist checked her computer and told me it wasn't possible to get my money back because I didn't purchase the insurance. This was incorrect. I pulled out my phone and showed the email I got from FlyHeli and it had an itemized listing of what I paid for, and the insurance was listed plain as day. The receptionist explained that it didn't show up on their system🙄. She then got her boss, and he told us that we should get confirmation of the refund within an hour (which didn't happen). Meanwhile as this was happening, there was a guy from Florida who was in the same situation as I was. He had spent $600 for a flight that he never took because of weather issues. He was told that since he didn't purchase insurance, he'd have to eat that $600. Like I said, I never got the notice. Communication doesn't seem to be their strong suit. I checked my account Tuesday evening and found that I was refunded my $654 dollars. When it comes to this company, caveat emptor. If you are hellbent on getting on a helicopter, pay the extra $40 for the insurance and save yourself a massive headache and save your wallet. Otherwise, there is a nice little show at Navy Pier called the Chicago Flyover where tickets are $39 and you will leave there begging for more.

There are safer choices - Can not recommend. Seem very disorganized and did not feel safe. They were running an hour behind and just kept saying we are next.
