Holiday Fun! - We were on the Centennial Wheel during the holiday fireworks. We stayed warm and the fireworks were beautiful! It was also great to purchase tickets beforehand so we didn't have to stand in line.

It was smooth, safe, and perfect for families. A great way to slow down, enjoy the scenery, and make lasting memories—definitely worth it!

Go! - The Ferris will provide phenomenal views of the city. I’ll probably take us in advance and it was very easy in and out.. this is a very fast activity but worth it

Pleasant ferris wheel ride overlooking Chicago - Pleasant ride overlooking Chicago's Navy Pier and skyline. Glass doors and ceilings for each gondola/capsule seemed thick and insulated us from the cold air. Nice experience :)

Really enjoyed my visit... - Really enjoyed my visit to Chicago's Navy Pier Centennial Wheel (aka The Ferris Wheel). I was able to sit in a pod on my own, the weather was beautiful and clear so I could clearly see all around. It went “round” several times also which was great 😊

Centennial Wheel - Great place to stop, eat and rest. Child and family friendly area. Lots of rides for kids. Went on through Centennial wheel, a bit expensive for 4 people,$94. The wheel had AC and it went around 3x. It was the air show that weekend so it was really cool to be at Navy Pier during that time.

Great place to visit and enjoy in Chicago - It is a pleasant place to enjoy with the family, in fact there are three more attractions to enjoy right there, summer is a perfect date to visit this place.

A gentle way to see the sights if you're not afraid of heights - Walked around the pier early in the morning - well 10.00 am, which is early in Chicago activities terms! Decided to ride the wheel last minute, however as it was so early there was no queue. Buying tickets from the machines, was a bit of a faff - luckily there was a member of staff on hand to help (although not the most patient person!). Walked on straight away, with no waiting time. Saw the city from a different perspective, although again some pointers for landmarks would have been useful. As it wasn't busy we didn't have to share a gondola with anyone, which was lovely and private. We did have appx 3 complete turns of the wheel so not as many as some but enough.

Wear good shoes - TONS of walking! I had over 14k steps for the day after visiting the Pier. We walked from our hotel (Sheraton) and then back/forth 2x. All shops are indoors. We missed them all the first time down the pier.
