I came to Chicago from out of town with two friends, having booked the tour ahead of time. It was a very good tour by the way, lots of fun and very insightful. There aren't anything like ghost tours in my state so I was extremely excited to see the tours that Chicago had to offer- sad to say the tours I really wanted to go to didn't have times on the days I was available while I was in Chicago- but, the Lincoln Park tour was extremely fun! Our guide, Tony was extremely friendly and informative- got out a lot about history while also talking about the ghosts of the tour itself. It was windy and cold but the tour was worth it. We also had the opportunity to use a EMF meter, I think it was- a ghost box, and dousing rods. Plenty of fun, before the tour I had been wanting to see a ghost box and EMF meter in action. Now as for strange happenings during the tour, I had a few! I had one or two good encounters with the EMF meter, one which I was able to get on video (it seemed like someone was walking with my friend and I, their company was very much appreciated, made things exciting). The ghost box was very interesting, I was able to pick up on a few things here and there near the bridge where suicides were committed (I hope i'm recalling correctly since i'm writing this review a little later, the tour was early October). Also, just when the tour was beginning and Tony was talking about the Chicago fires, once before he started talking about the fire my back was warm- and that was when the wind was really picking up during that time. I had even told my friend beside me that everything was cold except my back, like someone has put an electric blanket on it. Then it happened about 2 more times while Tony continued to talk about the fires. It was pretty surprising for me! I wasn't sure about encountering any ghosts but that was very real and strange. Another 'encounter' I had of some sorts was when we were led to the 'Couch' tomb- which didn't seem to have much activity. But I do remember as Tony was talking about how no one knows what's inside the tomb- a bit before he handed out the EMF meters, I heard someone say, "Don't touch it," a few moments later, 2-3 of the more adventurous types in our group, hopped over the fence surrounding the tomb. Needless to say, it was an extremely amazing tour with so many things going on at once..I hope to be in Chicago for a much longer stay, on my next visit, I would like to try out many of the other tours. Much thanks to our tour guide, Tony.

We did the tour with Tony as our guide. He knew so much about the city, its history, and all things paranormal. This is not your typical walking tour- its an interactive, engaging experience led by a passionate tour guide. I can't wait to wow my friends and family with the spooky facts I learned about my own neighborhood. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone with a curious mind. Whether you are visiting the city, or a permanent resident, this tour is a MUST do. Thank you Chicago Hauntings!!

I absolutely loved the tour and will gladly rate you on Google etc, Tony was a super guide full of interesting stories and trivia , tempered with his own passion for the occult. Believing in ghosts really has nothing to do with the tour, but a love for history, anecdotes and the city itself is the draw. Thanks! Definitely going to take more tours with you.
