The girl who led the tour from CA was awesome!
Disappointed to discover bottles can be bought cheaper at Binny's than direct (single malt at Binny's is $60). Otherwise tour was fantastic, guide was really great at answering all our questions!
Good overall tour of the facility with decent tasting pours.
It was a nice tour.
It's a nice place but hard to find! The guide was very knowledgeable! I took my gin-loving husband for his birthday. We loved the tour but my husband is not a fan of rye, so that diminished the tasting experience.
Always a fun tour and good booze.
The actual tour and and tasting was great. However, we were late because we couldn't find the entrance, which was really frustrating. Maybe give more detailed directions when tickets are purchased.
A nice beginner's tour of an up and coming distillery that provides excellent insight into their spirits.
it was an awesome tour. your new girl at the front is exceptional.
Fun and informative - and we got to taste 3 gins and 5 whiskeys. There was a large amount of time to taste, and enjoy.
I love FEW Rye, so it was a lot of fun to visit FEW Distillery and to see for myself how passion creates this world-leading whiskey, while discovering its worthy relatives (Gins, Bourbon and Malt). Congratulations to the friendly crew at FEW for their great work.
Katherine was great - giving us information about Evanston and the prohibition movement, and how that tied into the naming of the company. We got the opportunity to see the behind the scenes, with visual and olfactory experiences. We all enjoyed it, found a product we liked and came away with knowledge of a distillery none of us knew before.
Great tour guide! Smart, easy to listen to, funny and the tasting was nice and not too long. We even bought some Barrel Gin and Whiskey at the end. Success. Thanks.
Great tour. Very informative. Liked Katherine a lot. Good selection of whiskey & gin. Would recommend this tour & tasting.
The tour guide was very informative and made the experience wonderful
Very interesting. Our guide did a bang-up job.
Very informative and entertaining presentation.
The tour and tasting were great. The lack of cleanliness of the inside of the building detracted a bit from the tour however. Things at eye level and lower seemed fine, but looking up, there was a lot of dust and dirt on top of pipes, rafters, and shelves, both in the distilling area and in the tasting/retail space.
The tour was informative, educational and enjoyable. The tour guide was passionate and humorous. And the tasting was excellent. Overall great time. Cheers.
Fascinating history and cool to see a craft operation behind the scenes. Great host.
Great tour guide, great spirits, overall great experience
Tour was very informative. The tasting portion was just as interesting as the tour. I was skeptical if it would really take an hour because of how small the space is but it did! Our tour guide was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful time!
Great presentation and tasting
The tour was fantastic, and our guide was really great! My only qualm was that I wish the tour would have included a cocktail at the end or the beginning. Tasting the spirits by themselves was nice but it would have been better to see how they could be incorporated in a cocktail.
It was a fun tour. Previous distillery tours I've been on have been in the offseason, so it was more "this is where we do __ in the fall" etc. It was really cool to see the distillery active, and to learn the difference between spirits instead of just getting a lecture on what makes rye whiskey. I've never heard about the gin process before, which was fascinating, and you even make a gin I enjoy!
Great host and great time! Will definitely recommend to others :) Cheers!
Katherine was a JOY. We were on her last tour of the day and even though she'd had a full day already she was still awesome and hilarious. It's obvious that she enjoys her job. She answered our random questions, she let us try the white whiskey and some Anguish & Regret, and stayed after to talk with us a and couple other people about more stuff and answer more questions. We also really enjoyed the chance to smell the botanicals before tasting the gin.
