A Journey Through Time and Nature

The anticipation was palpable as I embarked on the Sumidero Canyon Adventure from San Cristóbal de las Casas. However, the night before our tour, we received news of a rock slide in the canyon, which meant the boats would not be running. Despite this setback, our guides offered us the option to reschedule or proceed with a sightseeing tour of the canyon. Eager to experience the canyon’s beauty, we chose the latter.
