It was a beautiful trip at the perfect time of the day. We had a wonderful time!
We enjoyed our trip very much. The weather turned out great, the train was comfortable and everyone working was pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be thinking about doing it again next year!
Had friends come up to visit us, went on the train ride. Liked it so much we also took family on another trip (3 train rides total)
The foliage was terrible. Nice people and comfortable ride, just not enough viewing of the foliage along the tracks.
Nothing negative. All was beyond great !!
It was a perfect train ride to add to our Vermont Fall foliage trip!
The journey delivered everything it promised. The booking process from the UK worked perfectly, the tickets were waiting atWill Call and the train was on time The trip was as promised ,the commentary sufficient and the catering adequate We could ask for nothing more
A well organized outing on a train from yesteryear to bring out some nostalgia of the old passenger trains. The Railroad personnel were very friendly and professional. The length of trip is just right, adequate food and drink and offered on board, because sitting and enjoying the views calls for something to eat or drink. Obviously the beautiful weather also contributed to the success of the outing. Seems like a lot of the people enjoy a good train ride, so the overall mood was upbeat.
train ride was nice, just not enough open scenery.

Great scenery, wonderful ride, and the employees are outstanding.
The train ride was enjoyable & the staff on the train very friendly. However, there was a lack of directions from the 'ground' crew as to where people should assemble to board. A large crowd gathered around one door, and then another crew member opened up a second door near the engine. If we had known (reading on your website) that you could pack a snack or lunch we would have made up a picnic basket to share w/our friends. Perhaps a suggestion that passengers could pack snacks, buy something from the deli across the street or purchase on-board food. Other people (perhaps returning passengers from previous trips) were prepared.
Great time work on poor parking
Overall great ride.
First of all I will say that the railroad personnel couldn’t have been nicer ! For us there really wasn’t too much difference between the train ride and our usual driving on 103 from 91 to Ludlow and our driver-arounds we are always taking. it’s probably good for people who can’t drive around or for people to bring their little grandkids for a train ride . It was a positive experience but did not meet my expectations .
Your ratings should have 4 stars being satisfied vs somewhat satisfied. We enjoyed the train ride but unfortunately I think that the foliage is a little out wack because of the weather.
Had a great time, good ride and pleasant staff
Relaxing, beautiful ride...staff were incredibly friendly and excited about being there with us. We loved it.
Train was clean(including windows!!!!), seating comfortable enough, & just the beauty & fun of being on a train. Everyone helpful.
Ride was quite enjoyable and foliage was just emerging. First train ride in quite a while.............smooth and quiet.
it was a lovely time. we came from connecticut and i wish there was a sign on rte#103 .
Riding on the Green Mt. Flyer is always a fun experience. This was probably my 12th time riding it with my son. He is your biggest fan.
We were in the area
Very professional people , with very comfortable cars
Enjoyed the historical info and the seating was comfortable. Wonderful view from the train!
Very nice fall foliage train ride
Ride was shorter than advertised and due to proximity of trees to rails very few panoramic photogenic views
TRAIN WAS LATE STARTING DUE TO A FREIGHT TRAIN. VERY LITTLE INFO AN HOW LATE IT WOULD BE. TRAIN WENT VERY FAST TO GET BACK ON SCHEDULE.
We had a fun time on the train - it was clean, quiet, and beautiful. My only annoyance was the staff. The conductor was friendly when we boarded but didn't interact with us afterwards. All the other staff stood around talking, where we could hear them. I came to enjoy the train, not hear that you gave up your shift at the restaurant or your opinion on politics. I understand that people need take a breather, but stuff like this should be done away from passengers. Also, don't assume guests know all the rules. You may have run the train for a long.time but this is our first time - don't be rude and snap when we ask a question or don't follow the rules. Again, we had a wonderful time and I hope this feedback can help make future train trips more enjoyable in the future.
Beautiful scenery in relaxing atmosphere!
We waited a long time for a Freight train to com thru. We understand that, but you haven’t enuf seats or benches and the wait was not comfortable. That was the only problem. The ride was comfy and fine!
The train ride was everything I expected . . . I just simply wanted to ride a train. I wish we could have had longer in Ludlow without having to wait for the next train.
It was a beautiful day, the train ride was so enjoyable and relaxing and we enjoyed hearing the little tidbits of history along the way. The staff was very helpful, courteous and professional. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!! Thank you!
