Educational, funny, and very informative - must see - Informative, funny, gory, and entertaining! Housed in the disused St Michael’s church, this museum of diseases and medicine strikes a great balance between educating you about plagues, diseases, and medical developments over the century and keeping it sufficiently light and entertaining. Gory in places (kids will love it), interactive, and well thought out. Note the special mention to modern celebrities Gwyneth Paltrow and one Donald Trump in the “snake-oil” bit of the exhibition. Really enjoyed my 90 minutes or so and still had the stomach for a snack afterwards.

Fabulous interactive education for all - Elizabeth made for an amazing start, teasing us about how we might be sacrificed for a medical experiment and creating a great atmosphere. Museum is interactive, bits are shocking but overall highly educative. Great value for money

Really well themed and very informative! - A lot of information and exhibits packed into a small museum easily taking up to and over an hour to look at everything. Each room is curated incredibly well to keep the theme up throughout, interactive exhibits in each room adding to the atmosphere. Each room is also filled with SO much information it’s all very well researched and put into easy to understand packages. All the staff seem well informed, and all keep up their charecters through out exchanges. Seperate paths too avoid rooms with a sensitive topic placed throughout and a well signed “mature section”. If you have a more morbid curiosity or ever just wanted to know about medicine from the past I really recommend this museum!!

Brilliant. It’s a must see. Fabulous experience giving information about all sorts of sickness. - Absolutely fantastic. Perfect for most ages, small children will enjoy most of it but some areas aren’t suitable. For all other ages it’s an amazing experience. Lots of information and lots of humour…a thoroughly enjoyable visit. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Please visit, you won’t regret it.

Worth a visit - A great deal of interesting facts to read and to see. Due the quantity of reading material, I would have preferred some of it on video.

Could be better - It was just too busy when we went, and we couldn't properly interact with any exhibits or read anything. The staff were excellent on the front desk but was nobody present in museum and it was very people clogged.

Don’t waste your money! - Really looking forward to this but was extremely disappointed. If I could only afford one treat, and I paid for this rubbish I would have been gutted. Don’t waste your money. It’s full of plastic organs and fake blood which are totally unrealistic. It’s like a Halloween display that children have made for fun. If you want to look at different lumps of plastic poo and plastic food with bits of sponge painted and stuck on, to look like mould, then by all means this is definitely for you, but I don’t think it’s worth the money! If you are taking children in be aware that there’s a mature content area that they could easily enter and see some unpleasant stuff. Definitely do not recommend.
