Fantastic - We went on the walking Medieval tour with Richard as our guide. It was fantastic and great fun. Richard was extremely knowledgeable and had a great way of describing events to all the group. His humour throughout was great to see, even in the rain. Strongly recommend folks. 1hr 30mins and only £12 at the time of booking. Get booked up.

Great Fun and VFM - Great value for money - Richard very kindly combined the Roman tour with the Medieval one for us due to unavoidable circumstances. He was very engaging and we all thoroughly enjoyed it (despite the drizzle!), Highly recommended!

The must of Chester - One of the best walking tours I have ever experienced. A short period of local medieval history Richard presented in the most engaging way. This is a real gem for history buffs. A long post-tour conversation was as good as the tour and as tasty as a local beer.

Fantastic medieval tour - Excellent medieval tour with Richard. We had been on his Roman tour a few years ago which was equally good. He was engaging, knowledgeable and entertaining. My 11yr and 14 yr old sons really enjoyed the tour especially being able to handle the weapons and arrow heads!

A very polished, professional tour by Richard our tour guide - Our tour guide, Richard, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. There wasn’t any lengthy walking which suited my son and I and Richard always stopped to talk in carefully chosen quiet areas of the town. I really admired Richard who seemed maturer than his age and obviously very intelligent and conveyed the history with enthusiasm. We particularly enjoyed being able to examine different weapons including arrow head types etc. It was a fascinating experience and Richard was the perfect tour guide.
