Paid £120 to queue all day and go on 3 rides - Unbelievably overbooked. Ended up going on 3 rides and did 3 halloween mazes which is ridiculous considering we were there from 11 am to 9 pm. Went on a Saturday, there were no rides with queues under 35 mins. The main rides like Hyperia etc stayed at over 100 minutes all day. Mainly went for the Halloween experience which was not bad wouldn't recommend if you live a few hours away like we did really not that great. It's like we paid 120 quid to be in a queue all day.

Debatable that the wait for rides is worth the money - 3 rides & 1 maze in 11hrs for £64!! 😡 - Expect a long day and long queues! Rides, once you get on them, are good but when you end up paying £56 to go on a Saturday for Fright Night and after nearly 1-hours only manage to do 3 rides and a maze that cost an extra £8 - and NOT worth it - you do feel slightly deflated. The maze was boring, we had wanted to do 2 of them but couldn’t get tickets for the other one and so glad now we didn’t end up wasting another £8. The Trailers maze was just boring, maybe down to staff just being bored themselves. And it’s short too, doesn’t take long to walk through it and not much of a maze at all. As for rides we waited a minimum 1hr 30mins up to 2hrs 15 min on every ride. We’ve been on busy days before but usually 1hr is the max time waited and this didn’t even feel that busy on the day we went. Fast Pass prices themselves are so overpriced as well when compared to other major theme parks abroad. Overall the rides are good but 3 rides that took approx 12 mins total to physically ride on and 7 mins for a maze, is it then worth it if you look at it as 19 minutes of ‘fun’ in 11 hours for £64?? Makes you think about whether to bother again!!

Don't go in wet weather Autumn or winter - Great potential but. You pay for 4 scare mazes but can only manage two in the three hours due to queuing. Wind over 20mph most of the mid sized spinny rides closed for 3/8 hours. Torrential rain 95% rides closed from 6-8 nothing open apart from two indoor rides with 2 hour queues. All other rides then shut at 8:10 for the night. Not good use of time or money. Wet weather guarantee of all rides closed for an hour didn't count. Apparently the one indoor ride open in that two hours was enough! Shocking

Shambles of a fright night! - Group of 10 friends booked for fright night in excess of £500! Got on 3 rides in total! during the course of the day majority of rides closed due to weather and lightening apparently! Scare maze complete disappointment and not worth £5 let alone £500! Complained on the night met with a sniggering’Manager’ and offered a free fast pass at 8pm.. all rides were closed due to weather! Shambles! Don’t bother opening a case… I wrote in and was offered £25 tickets to rebook use before May!!! Um thanks but no thanks! Don’t waste your money!

Disgraceful, thieving, unprofessional park - Thorpe park is a con. Spent over £100 on tickets for fright night on Halloween. Weather was bad so they decided to shut the majority of the park. (We was informed this by the security team before entering) that hardly any rides were open and the experience was shut. So we decided to not scan our tickets and go to the tickets office to get a refund or to change our tickets. They said they done so, they didn't. They just got rid of us. I expected some form of email or communication this had been done, but it hadn't. Fast forward to last week, where I contacted customer support who stated they had to open up a case and due to the experience I had, should get a refund for this. (All recorded on the phone) - they have sent me an email today refusing me a refund, saying it's policy that they don't refund anyone under any circumstance for fairness to all guests?!?! What does that mean? How does me wanting a refund for a park I could not enter because they shut it and DID NOT inform they had done.m so prior to arrival? How does that affect All other guests?! Thorpe park has stolen my money and refusing a refund and refusing refund for the car park I paid £12 for in order to enjoy the day. I drove for 2 hours to get there for the experience of fright night and couldn't actually enter?! But yet they now get to keep my money? Thieves and liars. Customer service is some of the worst I've experience. Do not go to this park, don't waste your time and effort. You'll drive all the way there and they won't tell you they shut half the park. Absolute disgraceful company.

Soulless cash grab. - Never been to a horror event as a horror fanatic I am severely disappointed in the "Fright Night" I paid almost £150 for as I arrived at 12pm and after a nice stroll joined the que for Nemesis around 1ish for an apparent 90 min que time which was a blantent lie sadly. Just over an hour into the que the ride broke for about 20mins which I understand is out of their control but when we boarded the ride it'd been about 2 hours+ and now nearing 4pm which screams to me overfilled and poorly organized. So we went into some scare mazes which honestly were also busy as hell with hour long ques to enter a low effort and repetitive as hell short experience with the same gimmicks, looping music and very expected scares, except from the one person that was swinging around and another crawling above me as well as two people who singled us out and put us into a corner then chased us out, which was so cool and what I'd expected all day yet only got scarcely in 9 hours and 4 - 5 rides, poor result. No scare zones except the scarecrows which is just laughable as the scarecrows were as good as the scare mazes and I believe no extra cost which is abysmal, after that we went to the other "scare zones" and met one girl stood alone, just not scary and more confusing as to where the rest of the actors were and wether she even worked there. No one approached us at all, no one chased us ever, not an inkling of horror anywhere but the mid decor and overly busy scare mazes which were tucked into the edges of the park and all split up. I'd love to also note for anyone that this place has no outside heat lamps and plenty of outside eatery's and seating so you're exposed constantly and not looked after in the slightest, I was harassed in a que and had no one to turn to for help or any buttons to push for security which is a huge safety issue. I cannot stress this enough, Fright Night is just not scary, it's uninteresting and overly packed with poor planning, poor consideration and care. There should be better rules or curfews to see a more controlled event and actual scare zones implemented closer together for a more rounded experience, the car park needs paving and is unexcusable to still be largely grass, the scare ques are in weirdly unlit and very hidden back areas. Unlikely I'll return to Thorpe park again as the whole thing was just disappointing, over promised and severely misleading.

Excitement Turned to Disappointment – A Day That Didn’t Live Up to the Hype - we visited Thorpe Park as a work trip, really looking forward to a fun-filled day after reading so many glowing reviews. Sadly, our experience just didn’t live up to what we’d expected. We planned carefully and arrived in good spirits, but it quickly became clear that the queue times shown on the app and signs were completely unreliable. At one point, what started as a 45-minute queue turned into 2.5 hours with no warning or updates once we were already committed and halfway through. After waiting so long, we decided to buy Fast Track for a couple of the rides we were most excited about. Unfortunately, this didn’t make much difference. On Hyperia (which I’ll admit is a brilliant ride!), the Fast Track queue still crawled along for every 40 or so people from the main queue, only a small handful of Fast Track guests were let through. The same happened on SAW: The Ride, where the Fast Track queue were at one pint it didn’t move for over 30 minutes. It really makes you question the point of paying extra when it’s essentially the same wait. We were also really excited for the Fright Nights mazes, as this was a big reason for booking our visit. We paid for the package with access to four mazes between 5–9pm, but again, the reality didn’t match what was advertised. Each maze had over an hour’s wait meaning it’s practically impossible to experience all four within that time frame. It honestly felt like a bit of a money-making tactic rather than a well-organised experience. To make matters worse, staff seemed unsure of the entry rules. We were told different things by different team members first “20 minutes before your time,” then “10 minutes before,” and then made to stand outside the entrance while others were allowed to pass us until the exact start time. Strangely, people who had bought single-maze tickets were being let in 30 minutes before their slot, while those of us who had paid extra for the full package were left waiting. Between our group, we spent around £1,200 on tickets, Fast Tracks, and maze access and that’s not even counting all the food and drink throughout the day. It really makes you think if a small group like ours spent that much and the park was packed, Thorpe Park isn’t offering an experience anymore, just an exercise in how to squeeze every last penny out of people. To advertise this as a Fright Night compared to other Halloween events is, frankly, a stretch. It was more of a “Light Night” leaving your wallet light, your patience lighter, and your excitement completely vanished. It all just felt poorly organised and confusing, which is such a shame because the park itself has huge potential and the atmosphere should have been amazing. We left feeling quite deflated after spending extra money on Fast Track and maze access that didn’t deliver what was promised. Hopefully Thorpe Park can take this feedback on board it’s a fantastic park in theory, but the inconsistency and lack of communication really let it down.
