As this area represents a significant part of the château, the tour route has been modified accordingly. The reopening date is not yet confirmed but is not expected before the end of the year.

Great! - Great tour with nice guide, good mix of guided and alone time. Good tips on lunch and good driver. Two very different castles and a great tour if you want a little of everything.

Two great tours! - We booked the castle tours and the wine tasting tour. We had Ilia both days and we could not have asked for a better guide. Ilia was engaging, accommodating, had a wealth of knowledge about history and the wine making process. He paid attention to personal details and helped me pick the perfect wine for us. We throughly enjoyed both our tour days with Ilia.

Chateau de Chenonceau and Chateau de Chambord - It delivered everything that it advertised. Guide was very informative her knowledge of the areas that we drove through and her knowledge of the history of the Chateaus was excellent.

Wonderful group tour - This was a perfect size group tour, and our guide was pleasant and full of knowledge about the chateau that we visited. It was nice to have someone else doing the driving so you could take in the scenery. It was a very enjoyable day!

Great experience - We visited Chateau Chenonceau and Chateau Chambord. Our guide, Ilia, was amazing. He was so knowledgeable about the history of the castles and all of the area. He gave us enough time to see everything at our pace and give us time to explore on our own. We never felt overwhelmed. He was on time to pick us up. The van was very spacious. He recommended places for lunch and anything we would ask him. Thank you Viator and thanks to Ilia, he was such a joy.

Extraordinary! - Ilya our driver and guide was delightful, knowledgeable, professional and yet relaxed. We were in excellent hands all day, and the two chateaux were amazing.

Val de Loire Castles - We had an amazing visit of Chateau Chambord and Chateau Chenonceau. Lovely lunch break in Amboise.

Magnificent Loire châteaux with a great guide - Charline took us out on a tour of most magnificent Loire châteaux. She is an excellent driver and very knowledgeable about the places we visited and the local history. We had both French- and English-speakers in our group and she able to accommodate both equally well. I heartily recommend her for any trips you might want to take in the Tours area.

A must see castles - It was a nice small group tour. Our driver and guide Charlene tried her best to make this day memorable for everyone. It is enough time for both guided tour and free time in Chenonceau. I enjoyed this chateau very much. Chambord is too large, but you could get a general vibe/ impression. Lunch stop for 1 hr in Amboise was an additional bonus as some went for a long lunch, whereas others managed to fit either visit to Royal Castle or home of Leonardo Da Vinci.
