Castle Fun - We had a great time being introduced to these chateaus by our guide. Our guide was very sweet and hospitable. He bacame our friend, super fun with alot of good energy. The castles were amazing. These 2 castles gave us just the right amount of culture and education. In between the castles our guide took us to a nice lunch spot. It was perfect. Don't waste your time going any place. Go to this little cute restaurant in the middle of a tiny street. (View photos) Great hamburger! ( I don't usually eat burgers,these are the bomb!). We loved our trip and our guide.

Great way to see two... - Great way to see two castles with chauffeur/guide who explained everything and then your own time to wander and lunch in between. Highly recommend as only small group.

The Ideal Chateau Tour - The experience was really great! Nice small group and our guide was awesome. He gave us some intriguing historical facts about each place balancing guided tour time with free time very well. Our guide was also very personable and gave us some recommendations for food and restaurants in Tours where we were staying! Would highly recommend this tour

A pleasant day trip - A well run tour with a knowledgeable guide. A nice mix of guided tour and free time at each chateaux. A lot of walking and climbing involved. A fair bit of driving, but that can't be helped. When we went in mid-October crowds were not bad. Even in October the gardens were attractive. There is nice stop for lunch in a small village.

Great! - Great tour with nice guide, good mix of guided and alone time. Good tips on lunch and good driver. Two very different castles and a great tour if you want a little of everything.

Two great tours! - We booked the castle tours and the wine tasting tour. We had Ilia both days and we could not have asked for a better guide. Ilia was engaging, accommodating, had a wealth of knowledge about history and the wine making process. He paid attention to personal details and helped me pick the perfect wine for us. We throughly enjoyed both our tour days with Ilia.

Wonderful group tour - This was a perfect size group tour, and our guide was pleasant and full of knowledge about the chateau that we visited. It was nice to have someone else doing the driving so you could take in the scenery. It was a very enjoyable day!

Great experience - We visited Chateau Chenonceau and Chateau Chambord. Our guide, Ilia, was amazing. He was so knowledgeable about the history of the castles and all of the area. He gave us enough time to see everything at our pace and give us time to explore on our own. We never felt overwhelmed. He was on time to pick us up. The van was very spacious. He recommended places for lunch and anything we would ask him. Thank you Viator and thanks to Ilia, he was such a joy.
