Excellent Driver - The driver picked me up right on time in the hotel lobby (and brought me back just as punctually). Throughout the entire journey, he drove very calmly and safely. Upon arrival at our destination, he helped me purchase the correct ticket and escorted me to the entrance, where he subsequently waited for my return. He didn't speak a word of English, but thanks to a translation app, this wasn't a problem at all. I would recommend this excursion to anyone looking to visit the Leshan Giant Buddha in a relaxed and stress-free manner.

Worthwhile once in a lifetime UNISCO site. Private car vs the hassle of tour bus. Driver was very accommodating and made extra s - The driver pickup at your hotel with private car. Its an independent tour be ready for a good hike. Driver made extra effort stops at our request. As per description, you have to pay for entry fees. If you are over 65 its free in most China national monuments. Its a UNSCO site that you will not missed.

Great choice - The best thing was our driver Shi Jianhua. On time, very friendly communicative and with a lot of predisposition. He helped us and accompanied us to book the boat tickets and to access the mountain on foot. Definitely highly recommended to take care of everything.

UNESCO World Culture and Natural Heritage - The Leshan Giant Buddha, located at the confluence of the three rivers in Leshan, Sichuan, is the world's tallest and largest ancient stone-carved seated statue of Maitreya Buddha. Its construction began in 713 AD and took 90 years to complete, finishing in 803 AD. The statue stands 71 meters tall, with its head level with the mountain top and its feet resting by the river, earning it the description: "The mountain is a Buddha, and the Buddha is a mountain."
