• Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi) - Option 1:
  In the morning, the guide and driver will meet guests in the hotel lobby and drive for 30 minutes to the Chengdu Panda Base to enjoy the company of giant pandas, red pandas, and peacocks. The Chengdu Panda Base is quite expansive, and without guidance, it’s easy to miss the active pandas. The guides are knowledgeable and familiar with every corner of the area. They will lead guests to see the active pandas via a special and efficient route with fewer crowds.
• Pengzhen - Option 2:
  For those who enjoy photography or have an interest in Sichuan tea culture, this option is recommended. In the morning, guests will be picked up from the hotel lobby and driven for 40 minutes to the tea house. Capture stunning photographs in the tea house, enjoy a cup of green tea to start the day, engage in conversations with locals, and make new friends.
• Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo) - Option 1:
  After lunch, guests will be driven for 2 hours to Leshan to view the world’s largest Buddha and the sleeping Buddha by boat. Around 18:00, guests will be returned to their hotel in downtown Chengdu.

Option 2:
Following the tea house visit, guests will be driven for 2 hours to Leshan. Leshan is renowned for its delicious street food, and if desired, the guide will provide a food tour to sample authentic local cuisine. After lunch, guests will explore the Giant Buddha Park on foot. For those who prefer not to climb steps, there is an option to view the Buddha by boat. Around 18:00, guests will be driven back to their hotel in downtown Chengdu. This tour offers two itineraries: a visit to both Leshan Giant Buddha and Chengdu Panda Base, or a trip to the Leshan Giant Buddha combined with an authentic tea house experience in Pengzhen. Over nearly two decades, our guided visits to the Chengdu Panda Base have been perfected as we observed its transformation from a modest sanctuary sheltering six rescued pandas to an expansive domain housing over 200. We are intimately familiar with the pandas and the facility, crafting a specialized tour path to highlight the more lively pandas while avoiding large crowds. Sichuan’s heritage is deeply intertwined with tea culture, historically echoed in the tea houses found throughout its urban and rural landscapes. As a photographer, I stumbled upon a genuine tea house in 2012 and have since been eager to share its heritage with visitors, representing what may be perceived as authentic Chinese life. Following your time at either the panda base or the tea house, we will chauffeur you to Leshan, celebrated for both its colossal Buddha sculpture and culinary delights.
