Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou (420KM, 8 hours drive). Overnight in Jiuzhaigou town.

Tianfu Square - In the morning, the guide and driver will meet the operator at 08:00 am in the Chengdu hotel lobby to transfer to Jiuzhaigou town, covering 420km in 8 hours. Although it’s a long drive from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou Valley, the stunning scenery along the route will alleviate any fatigue or boredom. Enjoy views of highland mountains, Tibetan villages, grasslands, yaks, sheep, and horses, and leave behind the city’s hustle and bustle. There will be 3 or 4 stops for rest and lunch.

Jiuzhaigou County - Upon arrival in Jiuzhaigou, the tour guide will assist with check-in. Guests can either take a leisurely walk around or relax at the hotel.

Jiuzhaigou Valley. Overnight in Jiuzhaigou town.

Jiuzhaigou Natural Reserve - The guide and driver will meet the operator at 9:00 am in the hotel lobby to visit Jiuzhai Valley National Park. The day is dedicated to exploring Jiuzhai Valley, home to 9 Tibetan villages, which gives it its name. The valley is renowned for its numerous blue, green, and turquoise lakes. Jiuzhai Valley comprises three valleys – Rize Valley, Shuzheng Valley, and Zechawa Valley, forming a “Y” shape. It is said that no place is as tranquil as Jiuzhaigou worldwide. The travel route is: Entrance - Rize Valley - Nuorilang Tourist Center - Zechawa Valley - Shuzheng Valley - Exit.

Jiuzhaigou to Huanglong National Park (110KM, 2.5 hours drive). Overnight in Chuanzhusi Town.

Jiuzhaigou County - In the morning, the driver and guide will meet the operator at 8:30 am to transfer to Huanglong National Park, a 2.5-hour drive covering 110km.

Huanglong Scenic Valley - Huanglong National Park is renowned for its thousands of colorful travertine ponds and flowing streams. Visitors can walk along the wooden path past hundreds of colorful lakes to the top, then descend to appreciate the beautiful scenery. Huanglong Scenic Area is famous for its colorful lakes, snow-capped mountains, beautiful valleys, and virgin forests. Inscribed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1992, it is often referred to as a “World Wonder” and “Fairy Land on Earth.”

Huanglong Valley - The visit to Huanglong Valley includes a cable car ride up and a walk down, which is the best way due to the high altitude (3400M). Upon reaching the upper station by cable car, a 40-minute walk along the parallel path leads to an active platform. The path spans over 1km, has no steps, and conserves energy. A further 1km climb leads to the famous multicolored pond, the highest point tourists can reach at 3900 meters. The calcified ponds are distributed by terraces along the elevation.

Chuanzhusi Town - Afterward, a private car will take guests to Chuanzhusi town, a 60-minute drive covering 40km. Upon arrival, the tour guide will assist with check-in. Guests can either take a leisurely walk around or relax at the hotel.

Chuanzhusi (Songpan) to Chengdu (320KM, 6 hours drive). Overnight in Chengdu.

Chuanzhusi Town - At 8:30 am, the guide and driver will meet the operator at the hotel to transfer back to Chengdu. Stops will be made at the Munigou Scenic area for a brief sightseeing visit before heading back to Chengdu. The tour can conclude at Chengdu city center or Chengdu airport/train station.

Munigou Scenic Resort - After a 30-minute drive, the Munigou scenic resort is reached. Other stops, such as the highland lake Diexihaizi or Yingxu, can be discussed with the guide. Munigou Valley is located in Muni Township, Songpan County, Aba Autonomous Prefecture, over three hundred kilometers from downtown Chengdu. It covers about 160 square kilometers, with elevations ranging from 2800 to 4070 meters and an annual average temperature of 7 ℃. The valley is known for its beautiful natural scenery and rich ethnic customs. The landscape includes primitive forests, alpine lakes, hot springs, giant calcified waterfalls, and more. Main attractions include Zhaga Waterfall, Muni Forest, Acres of Azalea, Jade Thermal Spring, Baihua Lake, Moon Lake, Swan Lake, and cavern groups.

Chengdu - Afterward, a private car will take guests to Chengdu for an overnight stay in the city.

Chengdu to Panda Base to Leshan Buddha to Mount Emei. Overnight in Emeishan city.

Tianfu Square - In the morning, the tour guide will meet the operator in the hotel lobby at 08:00 am to transfer to the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, a 30-minute drive covering 15km.

Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi) - Chengdu’s Giant Panda Breeding Research Base houses over 80 of China’s iconic pandas, including the familiar black and white variety and the smaller red pandas. Visitors can observe the pandas eating and playing in a habitat that closely resembles their natural environment. The Base also educates on efforts to protect the remaining wild pandas and expand the captive population. Since 1987, over 100 bears have been born at the Base. After the 2008 Sichuan earthquake, eight bears were relocated here from the damaged Wolong reserve. Visits support ongoing conservation efforts both morally and financially.

Baoguo Temple - Afterward, a private car will take guests to Bao Guo Temple, the largest temple at Emei Mountain, serving as the gateway to the mountain and the center of Buddhist activity. The temple faces Phoenix Lake and backs onto Phoenix Plains, welcoming the sunrise and being the last to see the sunset. Originally constructed during the Ming Dynasty as Hui Zong Hall, it was renamed “Bao Guo” in 1703, meaning “serve the nation.”

Emeishan - Finally, the guide will escort guests to their hotel for check-in, allowing free time.

Emei Mountain to Leidongping to Golden Summit to Chengdu. Tour concludes.

Mount Emei (Emeishan) - In the morning, the tour guide and driver will meet the operator at the hotel lobby at 08:00 am to head to the Emei mountain ticket office. The day is dedicated to exploring Emeishan, a World Heritage Site known for its cultural and natural significance. It is one of China’s Four Great Buddhist Mountains, home to 5000 plant species and over 2300 wild animal species. It is ideal for hiking, exploring Buddhist culture, photography, winter holidays, and summer retreats, suitable for year-round visits.

E’meishan Jinding Scenic Resort - After a cable car ride, a short walk leads to the Golden Summit, where guests can spend 40-60 minutes. The Golden Summit offers a fabulous experience with its sparkling golden Buddha statue, grand temples, endless cloud sea, and fresh air.

Emeishan - Next, guests will take the cable car and shuttle bus back to the mountain’s base. If desired, they can stop at Wannian Temple for a hike and discuss options with the guide. Upon reaching the ticket office, lunch will be provided before transferring back to Chengdu.

Chengdu - After lunch, guests will be transferred to their Chengdu hotel, airport, or train station, marking the end of the services.
