• Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding - 8:00 AM – 8:40 AM Drive to Chengdu Panda Base. After gathering all group members, we will proceed to our first stop – Chengdu Panda Base. Chengdu is renowned as a haven for pandas, with at least five locations open to the public for panda viewing in the city and surrounding areas. To maximize your time and provide the best experience, we have selected the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding and Research Base (Chengdu Panda Base) as our primary destination. You might even have the opportunity to see adorable newborn panda cubs here.
• Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding - 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM Visit Pandas. To enhance your experience, we have crafted optimal routes to avoid crowds and queues, allowing you more time to observe pandas and capture photos!

You may not be aware, but the giant panda has been reclassified from an endangered to a vulnerable species. • Chengdu - 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Drive to Chengdu and Enjoy a Hot Pot Lunch at a Local Chengdu Restaurant. It’s approximately a 40-minute drive back to downtown Chengdu. We’ll head to a local restaurant to enjoy a Chengdu Hot Pot lunch. Please note that the lunch fee is not included in the tour price.

• Chengdu Renmin Park - 2:50 PM – 4:30 PM Experience the Unique Local Leisurely Lifestyle in Chengdu People’s Park. After the opera show, we’ll visit Chengdu People’s Park, where you can observe how locals spend their leisure time and experience their unique culture and relaxed lifestyle.

You’ll witness people gathering in tea houses, sipping tea, and playing mahjong. You’ll also see earwax-cleaning services, elderly women singing and dancing, and parents advertising in the marriage market for their adult children.

• Chengdu - 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM Drive Back to Your Hotel. After exploring Chengdu People’s Park, our journey concludes. You will be returned to your hotel (or another designated location).
• Chengdu - 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM Visit a Local Chengdu Opera Tea House and Explore the Backstage. In this grassroots-style opera house, numerous long-time fans gather daily to meet friends and enjoy the show. You can join them, watching the performance and sipping tea. The most intriguing aspect of this venue is the opportunity to go backstage to see how the actors and actresses prepare and rehearse.

• Tea and snacks at Chengdu People’s park
