• Tianfu Square - The tour guide is available to meet guests at their Chengdu hotel lobby between 7:30 am and 3:00 pm. From there, a transfer to the Chengdu Panda Base is provided, which is a 30-minute drive covering 15 km.
• Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi) - The Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base houses over 80 of China’s beloved pandas. While most are the well-known black and white pandas, the Base also hosts several smaller, lesser-known red pandas. Visitors can observe these animals eating and playing in a habitat that closely resembles their natural environment. Additionally, guests will learn about the efforts of scientists and ecologists to protect the remaining wild pandas and increase the captive population. Notably, over 100 pandas have been born at the Base since 1987. The Base gained further significance after the 2008 Sichuan earthquake, when eight pandas were relocated here from the severely damaged Wolong reserve. Visiting the Base supports the ongoing conservation efforts both morally and financially.
• Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport - At the conclusion of the visit, the guide will accompany guests to Chengdu airport, which is a 50-minute drive covering 35 km.
