Afternoon: Head to Jiuzhaigou with two travel options:
Option 1 – Private Vehicle
Drive directly to Jiuzhaigou via the expressway, taking approximately 4+ hours (recommended for comfort and flexibility).

Option 2 – Bullet Train
Take the bullet train (around 2 hours) to Huanglong-Jiuzhai Station, then transfer to a private car for an additional 2-hour drive to Jiuzhaigou.

3-5 Hours of Exploration - Wander through this alpine fairyland where mineral-rich waters paint the mountainside in vibrant hues. The Multi-colored Ponds of various sizes and shapes display dreamlike colors of yellow, blue, green, and brown. Then, return to Chengdu (by car approximately 6 hours/by fast train approximately 4.5 hours).
