Chengdu - Jiuzhaigou Valley. O/N Jiuzhaigou town.

Chengdu - At 8:00 am, the guide and driver will meet the operator at the Chengdu hotel lobby and transfer to the Chengdu Panda Base, which is a 30-minute drive, covering 15 km.
Note: It is important to check out in the morning and bring all luggage to the car, as after the panda tour, the journey continues to Jinli Street or Renmin Park without returning to the hotel.

Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi) - Chengdu’s Giant Panda Breeding Research Base houses over 80 of China’s iconic pandas. Most are the familiar black and white variety, but the Base also hosts several smaller, lesser-known red pandas.

Visitors can observe the animals eating and playing in a habitat that closely resembles their natural environment. Additionally, they will learn about the efforts of scientists and ecologists to protect the remaining wild pandas and increase the captive population. Notably, over 100 bears have been born at the Base since 1987.

The Base gained even more significance after the 2008 Sichuan earthquake, with eight bears relocated here from the severely damaged Wolong reserve. The visit provides both moral and financial support for ongoing conservation efforts.

Kuanzhai Alley - Next, visit Chengdu’s Kuanzhai Alley for shopping or lunch. Alternatively, explore other attractions like Jinli Old Street or Renmin Park, as discussed with the guide. The flight departs around 5:00 pm this afternoon.
Kuanzhai Alley is a unique commercial street lined with ancient buildings, ideal for shopping and enjoying meals or coffee. The Zhai Alley in Chengdu is known for its leisurely lifestyle. After renovations in 2008, Zhai Alley became a district showcasing Chengdu’s gardening culture. This culture reflects a traditional and graceful Chengdu lifestyle, where a family has a garden, a garden surrounds a house, a house contains a courtyard, a courtyard has trees, trees are under the sky, and the sky has the moon. In Zhai Alley, western restaurants, take-away inns, cafés, and art and leisure workshops are prominent features.

Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport - After lunch, the operator will be escorted to Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport for the onward flight to Jiuzhaigou Huanglong Airport (Jiuhuang Airport), which takes about 50 minutes.

Note: The tour guide will accompany the operator from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou.

Sichuan Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport - Upon arrival at Jiuzhaigou Jiuhuang Airport, the guide will meet the local driver and transfer to Jiuzhaigou town, a 2.5-hour drive covering 130 km.

Jiuzhaigou County - Upon reaching the hotel in Jiuzhaigou, the tour guide will assist with check-in. The operator can either enjoy a leisurely walk around or rest at the hotel.

Jiuzhaigou Natural Reserve - At 9:00 am, the guide and driver will meet the operator at the hotel lobby and proceed to Jiuzhai Valley National Park.
Today, there is a full day to explore Jiuzhai Valley, which is home to nine Tibetan villages, hence its name. The valley is renowned for its numerous blue, green, and turquoise-colored lakes. Jiuzhai Valley comprises three valleys – Rize Valley, Shuzheng Valley, and Zechawa Valley, forming a “Y” shape. It is said that there is no place as peaceful as Jiuzhaigou anywhere in the world.
The travel route is: Entrance - Rize Valley - Nuorilang Tourist Center - Zechawa Valley - Shuzheng Valley - Exit.

Jiuzhaigou - Huanglong National Park - Chengdu. The tour ends.

Jiuzhaigou County - In the morning, at 8:30 am, the driver and guide will meet the operator and transfer to Huanglong National Park, a 2.5-hour drive covering 110 km.

Huanglong Scenic Valley - Huanglong National Park is renowned for its thousands of colorful travertine ponds and flowing streams. Visitors can walk along the hundreds of colorful lakes to the top via a wooden path, then descend while appreciating the beautiful scenery. Huanglong Scenic Area is famous for its colorful lakes, snow-capped mountains, beautiful valleys, and virgin forests. The area, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list in 1992, is often referred to as a “World Wonder” and “Fairy Land on Earth.”

Huanglong Valley - Today, the visit includes the Huanglong Valley section, with the ascent by cable car and descent on foot being the best approach due to the high altitude (3400M).
Upon reaching the upper station by cable car, a 40-minute walk along the parallel path leads to an active platform. Spanning over 1 km, the parallel path has no steps, conserving energy. Continuing for another 1 km, visitors arrive at the most famous spot, the Multicolored Pond. The highest point of the Multicolored Pond reaches 3900 meters, which is also the highest point accessible to tourists in the scenic area. The calcified ponds are distributed by terraces along the relief elevation of the land surfaces.

Sichuan Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport - Afterwards, a private car will take the operator to Jiuhuang Airport, with the flight scheduled for later than 5:00 pm, arriving in Chengdu around 8:00 pm.

Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport - Upon landing at Chengdu Airport, the local driver will meet the operator at the arrival exit and transport them to the Chengdu hotel or train station.

Chengdu - After a 40-minute drive, the operator will reach the Chengdu hotel or train station, where the guide will assist with check-in. This marks the end of the services.
