• Jinshanling Great Wall - 08:00: Gather with the driver at the designated meeting spot in downtown Beijing and embark on a picturesque 2.5-hour journey to the Jinshanling Great Wall.

10:30: Arrive at Jinshanling and choose your preferred hiking route:
Option 1: Loop hike from Mid Gate to East Gate
3.5-4 hours/7km
Ideal for those in good physical condition, with hiking experience, and active adventurers. Expect many large steps and an elevation gain of up to 450m.

Option 2: Return hike via Mid Gate
2.5-3.5 hours, various options available, refer to our maps
Suitable for seniors and individuals with knee issues.

14:30: Return to the parking area and travel back to Beijing.

17:00-17:30: Arrive back at the original meeting point in downtown, with timing subject to traffic conditions.

This section is considered one of the best hiking experiences on the Great Wall. It is highly photogenic, featuring over 15 watchtowers and steep gradients that offer ever-changing perspectives and expansive views. This part of the wall is wild, ruined, preserved, and original. On a clear day, capturing stunning photographs here is almost guaranteed.
