14:30: Return to the parking area and travel back to Beijing.
17:00-17:30: Arrive back at the original meeting point in downtown, with timing subject to traffic conditions.
This section is considered one of the best hiking experiences on the Great Wall. It is highly photogenic, featuring over 15 watchtowers and steep gradients that offer ever-changing perspectives and expansive views. This part of the wall is wild, ruined, preserved, and original. On a clear day, capturing stunning photographs here is almost guaranteed.

Perfect hike on the Great Wall - Had a perfect time on the trip. Cheney did a really good job showing us the Great Wall, best foto spots and explained the history :) Even it was the Chinese national Holiday, we sometimes at the wall to ourselves. I can totally recommend this trip! :)

Perfect - It was amazing experience. Our driver John was so funny and caring. He made us laugh and drove us the point of the beginning the hike. And I loved the location because it wasn’t crowded even tho it’s farder away from the city but not crowded and view of the wall and mountains is amazing. My calfs are very sore for the past few days form the hike. Well worth it. And our driver John wa there to pick us up abs drive us back and gave us gifts. Thank you very much!

Fantastic experience with Cheney - Had an awesome time with guide led by Cheney! The wall section was beautiful & Cheney did an amazing job introducing the history and what to expect during the hike. He was very patient with all skill levels and has great stories about the wall. Jinsahling section has many steps, so be prepared, but the views are worth it!

To be added to your travel bucketlist now! - I knew that the Great Wall excursion would be one of the highlights of my trip to China but I didn't imagine that this experience would be so exciting.
I arranged before departure with Great Wall Hiking and their Service was perfect! Our driver accompanied us at the entrance to Jinshanling and picked us up at the agreed point at the end of the route, giving us a number of useful tips on the route.
Watching the sunrise rise over the Wall was exciting.
This section is definitely less frequented than the better known as Badaling and this has allowed us to often enjoy it alone, we have met very few people! Spectacular.

- Amazing tour and driver. Zhang Feng was friendly and kind even if communication was only with translator. He climbed with us up to the wall to show us the way (even if it was quite easy not get lost). He also waited quite a long time before coming back as the group wanted to stop a little bit at the bar after the walk. Highly recommend!

July 25 - Amazing trip. Very well organised by the company. The weather was forecast to be terrible, so they added a guide to our trip (for free!) which was really amazing. Luis, our guide, was very kind and knowledgeable and made the whole experience much better. Would definitely recommend Jinshanling to others, was extremely quiet and pretty much no other tourists in sight.

Great wall tour of Jinshanling with intimate group - We had an amazing trip on Jinshanling. The guide (Devit) was very professional, full of interesting facts and great fun to hang out with. I will recommend this company on to others in the future.

Zhang Feng was a great... - Zhang Feng was a great guide. He was happy, positive, and giving. Despite the wall being closed due to weather, he tried incredibly hard to give us a good experience. I think the tour operator needs to come up with a plan, though, when weather impacts the closer of the wall- making alternate plans to other sections or leaving in the afternoon, or anything else. Waiting around for the possibility of it maybe opening was very frustrating. But Zhang Feng made it fun!
